Heading to the gym in a min for my full body bro work out. Hitting the legs a little more as we will be heading out west to ski in a few weeks. Will do 2 mile run on dreadmill after. Need to save some energy for no gi BJJ tonight.

Blood work came back pretty decent. Cholesterol was up quite a bit (total was 206 HDL was 70) from where it has always been not sure why. My macros have been off a little as I'm taking in a slight higher amount of carbs on days I train more but other wise calories are unchanged (2000 - 2400). My weight is ok 177lbs, I could stand to lose a few lbs of fat though.

Going to do a stress test since it has been several years since I had one and I have a family history of early death from CAD. Screening Colonoscopy next month. I will post pictures of results. ;-)

    Get after it!

Did a 10k walk this morning. Must have been a muscle strain. Still sore, but improving.

Headed out freeze with A.J. for a bit...sunny and 20. We got another few inches of snow since last walk ...eewww boy...
Tuesday starts my carnivore about diet. Today I cooked up some bacon ,I need the fat to cook my deer meat in because as you know the venison is lean. I'm hoping in my area as with keto not many are doing carnivore because I'm going to the local stores to see if I can get their toss away bones for a fair price. I have a huge electric roaster to make bone broth in. I love bone broth and it will be my morning "coffee". I have unsweetened caffeinated water to wean me off the coffee effect.

Well today's walk was the full mile perimeter of property...actually much easier than the other day because I stopped to survey up coming work and explored a newly enlarged yote den...where I found the fawn carcass last year in the main plot. After seeing 2 huge yotes on camera I'm thinking I'll go to blind and do a bit of hunting. The den is a mere 40 yrds away with main winds coming toward blind from den north west. Even a south wind would be good. Just not an east wind direction.
Also a bit disconcerting we were stalked from above. Came out of open field walking back up the hill ,A.J. in his bright red coat. I stopped to rest and leaning against a tree looked straight up through the trees. There doing tighter and tighter circles over head was a mature large bald eagle. Quite beautiful with the sun shining on him. Though when he started coming down in elevation with each circle I realized he had moved up more toward A. J.'s position farther up the hill. I let out a few hawk screeches and watched him turning his head around searching then left.
Came home made fresh walleye, cabbage salad from cabbage and carrots in cold storage with air fry steak fries for hubby from my tator towers. NO WIND! I love cold weather as long as there is no wind...

Today is my last day of Keto only. Now I am a salad eater so I just had my last big salad for a while. I got my shipment of bone broth to supplement stuff I made. It will be my coffee. Thank God I love eggs. I made my egg "pasta" batter so tonight I'll have my "viral noodle" with sausage and my sauce. I also made my egg white bread rolls . These are made with whipped powdered egg whites, salt, powdered :
    Yokes
    Butter
    Buttermilk
With a few stabilizing things. Zero flour. 20220131_114958.jpg 20220131_114301.jpg About 2 carbs per serving and very filling. Pics
Lots of deer and beef defrosting.

Here's some pics of my making our dinner noodles. This is just 2 whole eggs whipped in 4 cups of water with 2 1/2 table spoons of sodium alginate,1/2tsp xynthum gum, 1/4salt. The bath where noodles are made is 7 cups of water to 1 table spoon of calcium lactate dissolved.

No workout for me today cause it was my birthday and the Mrs took the day off to be together. I did eat myself into oblivion though! Oh well, back to the gym tomorrow, which also marks my seven year anniversary of starting this fitness journey. I gotta say it's just been plain awesome!!!!

Today was a 2 mile bike on high resistance. And A.J. and I did another mile perimeter in the snow. Stopped to push over a few dozen dead saplings. Then shoveled around garage and the canvas barn roof. Got cardio . and weight training in.

Power Cleans, Pull Ups and Push Ups as a super set followed by miscellaneous chest and shoulders work with free weights.

I decided the Alpine Runner was getting a little boring for an indoor hike. Instead, I put on a 20lb pack and did 60 minutes of step ups on a 14" box. No idea what the calorie burn was, but I am sweating harder than I have the last few hikes.
