Vinegar, herbs, spices, flavorful greens (arugula, water cress), fresh herbs, or even some edible flowers like nasturtiums are low/no cal additions to really eliminate blandness.

Grill a bunch of chicken breast with adobo seasoning and put them in the fridge...slice and add to a veg stir fry or salad...killer.

Trap Bar Deadlifts for sets of 4: 145, 195, 235, 285, 325, 375, 400. That set of 400 for 4 reps is the first time since college pulling 400+lbs for reps on deadlift. Who says growing older means getting old?

25 pull ups, 25 push ups

Cable Squat-Rows @100lbs 3 sets of 12 superset with Rope Handle Cable Rotations @50lbs 12/side

Been at it this week again. Good workouts before work. I'm picking up the jump rope..sets of 45 seconds to a minute followed by the same amount of rest is much better than a treadmill when I cant run. Today is gonna be a push day..quads and chest. Let's go.

Thanks. Doing full carni for a month, then see how I feel. After that I may add a few veggies but stay paleo at least till Thanksgiving.

I did 100 push ups yesterday, and if I were doing any more, they would’ve had to have been in sets of 5 and probably one or two at a time once I got up around 150 lol. I’m not nearly as sore today as I thought I’d be though.

I have had to back off the intensity of my workouts the last couple of weeks because I have been doing a lot of work at my in-laws house in the evenings and weekends.

Monday and today, 45 minute hikes with a 20lb pack at 20% incline.

    Tuesday Upper Body lift:

Round 1: 5 weighted pull ups @25lbs for 5, 5 push ups, 30 second pallof press/side @50lbs, 25 slams with battle ropes for five rounds.

Round 2: incline DB press @55lbs for 8, Standing High Cable Rows w/rotation @100lbs 12/arm, 8 BW dips, DB Curls @40lbs for 6/arm, Rope Rotations @50lbs 12/side, Rope Face Pulls @50lbs for 12, 25 slams with Battle Ropes for three rounds

down 15lbs since Aug 16. All I have eaten since Aug 22 is pork, chicken, beef, venison, and eggs. Eggs get a sprinkle of cheddar.
    I feel great.

Surprisingly, no digestive side effects. I thought I would be getting kicked out of the house but that has not been an issue.

Man I cant lose or gain weight like that. I'm like a 50 calorie more or less a day guy away from gaining or losing a pound here or there. Maybe I need to eat like a caveman!

I've always been able to drop weight pretty fast, but last time I seriously tried was in 2013/14 - when I was in my mid-30s.
Cut out the 3-4 beers per evening, go to all protein diet, and get to moving.

Finally home and can get back on normal workout schedule. Plus opening day on Wednesday means more than a few miles hiking and maybe hiking out with a heavy pack

I haven't trained since last Friday. I had GI bug and fevers over the weekend. I even got covid tested, negative thank you. I'm going to try and move a little weight today since my diet is getting a little more normal. bumps in the road. back in the fight. stay after it.

Only got two workouts in over my work week. But did play around for hours over several days and lose 10lbs of water weight. What a fun work week. Yeah.
