I hit 6 Miles on the elliptical in 30 minutes and then did an easy walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes. Burned about 600 calories between the two.

Haven't gone every day, but I'm on the grind this week every day. It's been 90+ degrees for a week straight now so it's hard to get out, but it feels great once I'm done. 2 miles 2 times a day alternating running/walking.

My diet is still crap. We've had events going on every weekend the last month that included not good for you food... Leftovers every single Monday sitting in our fridge, and I'm not one to throw perfectly good food away. Since I'm not eating good, I just limit how much I eat of it (mostly just eating dinner). I've had an apple at 10am and a bunch of watermelon (leftover from this weekend) at 12pm every day this week, and then just normal bad leftover food for dinner.

    The journey continues.

Get a versa band and place it right above your knees, push out against then band while lifting the hips up. This will strengthen the glute medius and make it easier on your back while hiking.

^That's pretty extreme. When I was elliptical-ing regularly on the road, seems like 45-60 minutes was the time to burn 600 kcals.

5 rounds of 5 weighted pulls up @25lbs and 25 pushups then did Trap Bar Deadlifts afterward for sets of six at 145, 195, 235, 285, 325, 325. I did 30 seconds planks and some light shoulder work with DBs between sets of deadlifts.

I have always loved track and field. Look at this freshman sprinter from Florida. Look at the size and speed of this guy!

Way to get after it guys. Been an uneventful week of rehabbing my shoulder. Training was brief. ROM in shoulder is getting better as pain is settling down somewhat. Picked up some bruised ribs and a black eye. No factor, I keep pushing on.

    Stay after it!

Made it two months without alcohol. Still not at 235 which is my intermediary target weight, but I'm getting there. Bought me a bag of chips today as a reward. Ha!

That’s me when I run too much. My shins hurt while I’m running (not excruciating, just throb). I’m only running a mile or so each day, but it’s on tar/cement.

Just have to tone it down until I get more miles on the legs since I was out of the game for a while.

Got in another hike on Monday.

    Yesterday: Round 1: 5 weighted pull ups @ 25lbs for 5 reps, 5 push ups, 50lb Palloff Press 30 seconds/side, 1 minute of jump rope x 5 rounds

    Round 2: Landmine Overhead Press 55lbs @8 reps/arm, KB Rows @70lbs 12 reps/arm, Cable Face Pulls @50lbs x 12 reps, Cable Rotations @50lbs 12/side, Jump Rope 1 minute x 3 rounds

    Round 3: DB Shoulder Circuit x 25 reps, DB curls @35lbs 8 reps/arm, 1 minute of jump rope x 3 rounds

No resting between rounds, moving fast I finished the lifting in 40 minutes that was an additional two minutes of jump rope in the warm up and cool down so 15 minutes total of jump rope.

Played softball for two hours last night in addition to the workout.
