    Yesterday was a good day.

Pretty much have eliminated all process sugars, it' hard to do. My face is no longer puffy

    1.5 mile at lunch
4 mile hike in the evening with the wife
    75 squats
    55 Pushups
    5 pull ups.

To the point I am going to start with some free weights and make my return to the golf course. My tennis elbow is healed.

Got in a brutal ride last night. Was on saddle for almost 5 hours and burned over 2700 calories. I cramped in my legs horribly, my stomach was messed up and hurting and got fatigue bad in my hands, neck and shoulders. Started getting a headache also. I was hurting so bad i couldn't eat or drink.

I wanted to push myself past my physical limit and see where im at. Well that ride did it. But usually when i do a ride like this, it does a huge jump in my training. Now that i know i can do that, i can usually push it further. Still not sure if i will race this year, hopefully at least one or two races. Screenshot_20250604_110102_Strava.jpg

So you guys know I've been Keto since the start of covid. Well let me tell you food effecting arthitis and inflammation is no stinking joke!
Last night daughter came up and brought a pizza parlor pizza and salads for dinner. I was really tired from working and heat and said to heck with it I'll have pizza with my salad. You all know I have total joint arthritis. Well besides my gut literally balloning within 30 mins I woke up this morning in great pain. Both my hands literally curled up, my wrists, knees , and ankle crazy swollen. My rt shoulder and hip screaming at me and rt foot in crazy pain walking.
The processed pizza dough and probably sauce/ oils as well, It was a thin crust pepperoni and I have no idea what oils they used.
NEVER EVER AGAIN, yes food effects inflamation!

Sorry to hear that. Not being able to enjoy pizza now and then would be brutal!

Thanks, well I make my own keto pizza so ...
But yes that thought was what had me try and a tough learned lessen. Beside I'll be honest here. My keto pizza taste 1000 x's better than that slice tasted. It was bland and it was greasy. Then really?!!! I asked her what a lrg pepperoni and 2 salads cost 40 bucks!!!!!! What the blank! The last time I've had a real pizza from a shop...you could buy a SHEET pizza with 3 toppings and a dozen wings for 20.00. I rarely eat out lol

Finally got back in the gym this morning for a decent workout. Nothing crazy, I just wanted to get the HR up and move some weights around. 30 minutes / 221 flights of stairs followed by dips, leg press, cable rows, front shoulder raises and incline bench.

Got in a fast ride last night. Due to rain, the trails were slop and not really rideable. So stuck to double track and gravel roads. Got almost 3 hours in and felt strong on the whole ride and could have done more. Screenshot_20250611_074821_Strava.jpg

I stayed up too late last night and woke up later than I wanted, but still snuck in a 45 minute workout this morning. 20 minutes of "no hands" on the stair bastard to get warmed up then a few quick sets of skull crushers, cable flies, incline press and some leg presses for good measure.

Fell off the wagon for a little bit and have been skipping a day here and there since vacation at the end of May… trying to get back into a firm routine. Still hovering between [emoji6]-[emoji6][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]lbs lost on the year. Wanting to get to [emoji6][emoji6]lbs down and then give myself some more grace in the workouts and clean eating
