    Sunday:
    Power Clean 4 x 4 @115lbs
    Front Squat 4 x 8 @185lbs
    Snatch-grip High Pulls 4 x 8 125lbs
    Barbell Rows 4 x 8 @125lbs

Sunday also involved coaching baseball practice for two hours. Saturday involved reseeding the lawn after cleaning it up from all the limb and leaf debris from last weekend's storms, got in a good three hours of yard work. Hit 16,518 steps on Saturday and 13,866 on Sunday. Those will be my lightest activity days this week.

I had a 2 hour baseball practice last night running around with the little kids. That's always good for the soul!

This morning I crushed 237 flights of stairs then did chest flies, dips, incline bench and overhead tricep extensions.

Whenever I see bars that aren’t stripped of the plates I always think to myself “your mom doesn’t lift here you need to pick up after yourself”. Well today I came upon the mid-day middle aged women crew of about 5 women. They left equipment all over and didn’t strip their plates off the bar when they were done. It seems I was mistaken, the mom’s were the problem all along. I got a chuckle out of it.

I might get yelled at next week but I have gained weight, I am up to dang near the weight before the whole Charlie Foxtrot began. I feel better and stronger then when I was recovering 20 pounds ago. Big blood test and liver function test next week. I may just declare myself cured, stage 4 liver disease I don't think so. Not that I have some theory about the cause but it all seemed to start when I started on blood pressure meds after my covid shots. I never had high blood pressure until I was hospitalized after my second shot.

Well, fellas, I fell off the 75 Hard wagon last week when I took my boys turkey hunting. There was just no conceivable way I was going to get in two workouts for those couple of days. Thursday, I was running on about 4 hours of sleep when we got up at 3:45 am, sat in a blind until 1 pm, then had a photo/video shoot until almost 5 pm, then I had to go pop up a blind and get things ready for the following morning. I was cashed and had all I could do to stay awake long enough to get the boys fed and crawl into bed to do it all over again on Friday.

I'm a bit disappointed, but it is what it is! Saturday I crushed a workout at home, Sunday I upped the weight in my ruck and got in my best time yet around the lake, and this morning I hit the stairs and followed it up dips, chest flies, incline bench, and some core work. 100 ounces of water down the hatch so far today and I'm feeling great.

Yesterday's ruck I went up to 45 lbs of weights plus the pack and a big towel to hold things in place so I'm guessing I'm right around 50 lbs, if not a touch over. My average pace was 14:45 for 2.8 miles around the lake. When I started rucking again about 2 months ago I could barely do a 16 minute pace with 35 lbs. It was a great way to start the day.

From here on out nothing is changing. I'm still sticking to all of the 75 Hard milestones and I'm going to see it through until the end even if I did "technically" fail.

You don't "fail" unless you just quit all together, and you didn't! Stay

Funny story, I get to the gym this morning and all the stair machines are taken. No big deal, I figure I'll do my stretches and one will open up by the time I'm done. If not, I'll hit the elliptical.

I get done stretching, look up, and there's an open stair machine so I start walking over toward it. In the meantime, a guy comes up the stairs and sees me walking toward the machine, then proceeds to RUN ahead of me to get on it before I could get there. All I could do was chuckle. People are strange.

So I hit the elliptical for 30 minutes / 3.75 miles followed by single leg presses, calf raises, weighted step-ups, weighted split squats and some glute ham raises.

I wouldn't count that as a fail. You were pushing yourself to the limits with the family and hunting, so that would count to me. Keep at it man!

Guys im off the wagon bad.

I was a shed hunting trip all last week in Maine. I did manage to do alittle over 45 miles. But on day 1 I hurt my knee bad. I medicated that night and just pushed my self to hike the rest of the week, because that was the whole reason of being there and didnt want to ruin the whole trip on day 1. I hobbled around the best i could and still manage to keep up, but im sure i made it worse.

So now im just taking easy and letting the knee heal. So no mountain biking for awhile. And already started putting on weight. Making me sick not being able to work out.

Damn, that sucks!! It's tough to do, but just need to watch the diet while you're laid up. Good time to try a 72 hour water fast.

Stair machines were full up again this morning so I did a quick 15 minute/2 mile warm up on the elliptical and then lifted. Lat pulldowns, rope face pulls, single arm bent over rows, upright rows, cable side raises, and leg lifts.
