Their main reason for being in Fargo was that they were working on some type of Norse or Lumberjack strength documentary and our town had an old wooden ship ( I believe) that they were pulling around. They just needed a place to train while they were here and since they had the cameras they obviously got in some videos.

I was training there 2 or 3 times while they were there, even shook Eddie Hall's hand. Wasn't very life changing. My buddy knew who he was ahead of time so for him it was like meeting an idol, I found out who he was 2 days before when the owner of metro posted on the IG account that they were coming. My friend shook his hand first and said"Ive been a fan for a long time", I shook his hand and said "I found out who you were yesterday"

Yea Shaw as mentioned over last few months they're working on some kind of documentary but couldn't mention many details. They even mention in the videos that's why they're there.

Idk I follow some them guys just cause I like watching the strongman stuff. It'd be cool to meet any of them but I don't really get all crazy bout meeting "famous" ppl.

Well I got back out at 1:30 or so and finished up the worst of it. I'll finish the last 50 ft tomorrow. What a great day to be out. Better than a gym work out:cool:

Yeah that's too strict for me. I'll stick to my mile a day run, 30 minute ellipitical, Monday - chest/tri, Tuesday - Back/Bi, Wednesday - Shoulders/legs, Thursday/Friday - Choice. Don't watch my diet all that much either. For the time being I'm actually only eating one meal a day (dinner), and drinking a gallon or more of water every day.

Not too bad for my 44 year old butt today. Ran an 8.5 min mile then came in and started with 3 sets of 225x 10 on the squat. 2 months of hard leg training is finall7 starting to pay off.

That is what I run my every day mile at - Set treadmill at 7.5mph and you get a mile in 8.5 minutes.

Weighed in today for the first time in a few weeks. Down 13lbs since January 1. Started at 178 and am now 165.

I only eat dinner right now. Giving it another month or so on this routine and then will incorporate a small lunch. I have never been one to eat before noon, so no breakfast is not a big deal.

    I agree, you're nuts.

Do you have a specific goal? Eating once a day is likely destroying your metabolism!

I guess drop a few more lbs could be a goal? I just have never really eaten much before dinner I guess so taking breakfast/lunch out isn't a huge deal to me.

Scale at gym says i been loosen wieght, hiring a trainer helps me alot to stay motivated and build muscle. Eating is the hardest part tryin to stay with green vegies and protein but it seems to be working for me. Eatn right is the hardest part for me. Donuts and pizza would b so good with a Ski.

You know what is a great super quick, healthy meal? Buy a rotisserie chicken and remove the skin, shred the meat, and use it in tacos. We did that last night and they were damn good.

6" tortilla's (170 cal per 2), shredded chicken, lettuce, cheese, low fat sour cream, and hot sauce.

Super healthy. Super quick. Super delicious.

At the state quarterfinals for my daughters hs bball game. Proud of the team and my daughter for carving out a starting position on a perennial state powerhouse bball program. They won the regional championship 3 days ago. Do or die for all games now.

Honestly I only really eat once big meal a day and then something small. Which may be why I'm not gaining what probably should the way I'm trying to lift.

Like yesterday ate 2 bagels with peanut butter around 9 or 10 am. Then went to gym around 3 pm for hour and half. Had MRE lite protein shake after (2 scoops) then around 730 pm 2 catfish fillets and probably cup to cup and half over baked potatoes. Idk bout potatoes don't measure food.

Do a week of eating 4 or 5 small meals a day and see what changes? Even if you have to choke down breakfast, get that meal in with some type of protein right away and I'm sure you will have the hunger to eat throughout the day with your metabolism cranking!

I'm not an Olympian, but they figured out how to build athletes, so I figure it's worth a try to copy them and they eat all day long! Constantly putting food in their mouth.. I like to find successful methods and copy them instead of inventing my own

Yea I know its better to eat more often to keep metabolism goin, seems odd probably but I've always kinda only ate one "big" meal a day. Which probably isnt good either to get everything at one time. Need to get diet on track or somewhat consistent and imagine would help. Thanks for the tip tho I'll give ot a shot.
