What's your trick for getting in your protein without increasing caloric intake too much? The only ways I've found is either protein shakes/bars or mass quantities of chicken. lol

I do drink a protein shake for breakfast. I typically don’t eat anything after dinner so I like to get some liquid and some protein in first thing in the morning. Eggs, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, tuna, ground turkey, ground venison, turkey jerky. I build my diet around protein and fat. I try to keep carbs around 100. Protein and fat are way more filling than carbs so it’s pretty easy.

Today was supposed to be a rest day, slept in then felt like crap for not working out so while the kids napped I bumped out a forty minute hit workout followed by an hour walking on incline on the treadmill at four and a half mph

I've been back in Florida for about three weeks now. So that means I dont have any gym partners. Got up this AM and thought I'll just skip it today because honestly it's kind of lonely without my tribe. Nope! Pushed through and spent nearly two hours over there and came out feeling great! I couldn't believe the energy I felt when I was finished. Take that old age!!

Happy Monday, my dudes. Here's your 75 Hard update on Day 10.

    Day 1 weight - 212.6 lbs
    Day 8 weight - 209.1 lbs

This weekend I went relatively easy on myself. Saturday morning, I got on the stationary bike and did 10 miles in 30 minutes. Then, I stretched and did some light resistance band and core work. I took the doggo on a 3 mile hike that afternoon.

Sunday morning I did a 45 min dumbbell circuit then I spent a couple hours that afternoon looking for shed antlers and moving some treestands around.

This morning was back to the gym for 30 minutes / 216 flights of stairs followed by leg day. Weighted step-ups, leg extensions, single leg presses, calf raises and something else I can't recall.

Looking forward to rucking tonight and tomorrow while it's pouring rain. :)

Lost 3lbs last week while sick with the flu, didn't eat for three days. Still do not have my normal energy or appetite back yet, went back to work on Friday.

Happy Hump Day, boys! Workouts and diet have been on point this time through 75 Hard. I'm on Day 12 and honestly feeling pretty amazing. I've been sub-2,000 calories on most days with next to zero hunger or cravings, which is pretty amazing for me. Protein intake has been 150-200 grams a day thanks to a lot of protein shakes, chicken, and venison.

I'm also getting my gallon of water drank usually by mid-day, which has been great. Not having to take a leak every 15 minutes all afternoon and evening is a blessing.

My rucking pace has been getting quicker each week and I got my first sub-16-minute pace over 3 miles on Monday night. I backed down the intensity a bit last night as my hips were a little sore and it was pouring rain the entire time.

Day 14 off to a decent start. My knees are a little sore from rucking last night so I opted for elliptical instead of stairs this morning. I made it 4 miles in about 32 minutes. Followed up with some bench press, tricep extensions, cable flies and face pulls. Nothing too crazy, just keeping the wheels greased!

It's snowing now but should be done by late afternoon, so I will ruck again tonight after I drop my son off at his baseball practice. I enjoy a good hike around the lake as the sun is setting and nobody else is out.

My weekly weigh-in will be tomorrow morning. Hoping for 207, but we'll see how it goes. My short-term goal is to be back down to 200 lbs by the end of this month when we go to the Open Season Expo in Wisconsin Dells. I need just a touch over 2 lbs/week to get there.

Weekly weigh in. Officially half way there. Thirty pounds down since January fourth. Super excited to have hit this goal. Knees and quads were sore this morning from HIT workouts and the stairs so I opted for an hour on the treadmill on incline. Keep at it gentlemen!!

30 lbs in 60 days is no joke! That's pretty incredible work.
