I don't think alot of people realize how serious it is to become dehydrated. I worked in hospitals for many years and I know I didn't realize the severity of it until it happened to me after having covid the first time. I got up one morning and felt weird. I walked into my kitchen to get a water and passed out, the only time I've ever passed out in my whole life. You literally feel like you're dieing, you become disoriented and lethargic. It is serious business and you have to be careful. That was the reason I called for the ambulance when I was traveling last week. I thought I might pass out before I could reach the hospital. I don't want to ever experience that again.

I'm usually hydrated but man I've hunted many a day where I was dragging so bad coming out of the woods I thought I'd never make it. Dehydration and concrete legs. Not fun.

Been running and upping strength training, particularly my legs. Lost power during hunting season. Also been working on my hip flexibility...I can go down into a full low squat, hold it for 20 seconds, and stand without any pain. Been many years.
