Knocked out 230 flights on the dot this morning. Followed up with leg extensions, leg curls, incline leg press and weighted step-ups. We have our company party this afternoon and we have our annual plank challenge so I avoided core this morning. The winning time is usually in the 4-5 minute range. I finished second last year, but I feel like I was in much better shape then and of course I was a year younger. We'll see how this goes!

Nah, that was one of our office people. We run an IT consulting and web development business, and all of our "real" employees aren't people from the show.

The BHOD team is just a bunch of random weirdos we met on the internet who like to shoot and film things.

Not a chance I was winning that competition yesterday. I dropped out at 2:30 which is pretty decent considering I probably haven't done a plank since our party last year. Winning time this year was 3:35.

I need to step it up for next year.

Today, I decided to do a little less cardio and a little more heavy lifting, so I stretched and did 10 minutes on the elliptical to warm up. To finish it off, I did a flat bench press, skull crushers, incline dumbbell press, tricep extensions, chest flies, and dips.

Finished off the week with workout #4 - pushed the pace on the stairs and got 236 flights in 30 minutes. I started in on a leg workout after that but had to cut it short and get into the office early. So, I only got through leg extensions and leg curls. Today was single rep max on leg extensions and I hit 230 lbs.

I may have been able to do more, but my knees do not like that one bit. Rather than risk injury, I called it good enough. The general theory is that you should be able to leg extension your body weight so I'm still doing good enough.

I feel like I'm talking to myself in here.

30 min / 236 flights this morning followed by a mild back/shoulders workout. Lat pulldowns, seated cable rows, shoulder side raises and upright bent bar rows.

My oldest son is getting a weight bench for Christmas from my mom so we're going to find some used weights on FB Marketplace over the holiday break. He wants to start lifting a little bit to keep up with some of the kids on his baseball & football teams.

    Good job Justin! Haha

Im here, just started yesterday for my mountain bike season for this coming year. First exercise was 1:15 on the trainer. Definitely lost alot in my legs.

Plan to do body weight exercise to build my core and back, also some to keep building up my shoulders. These 3 areas are my main injured spots that hurt daily. Would like to do 3-4 days a week on these areas.

Also want to do the trainer 3 days a week to build up for when i actually get back on the trails with my bike. But ive become a sissy and dont like riding in the cold weather, so trainer for now.

Anyone have any experience with a activated charcoal? I have a loved one getting a PET scan tomorrow and it's full of nasty crap. Was thinking of maybe ordering some activated charcoal...

Been back in the game a bit. Running. Lifting. Getting ready for a good push come mid Jan. I'd love to be able to deadlift my bodyweight 20 times.

Ok, I know I don't post alot of what I do exercise wise but I do hit it 5 days a week, with the exception of deer season. It always consists of two hours of cardio with a few old fashioned calisthenics thrown in. I'd love to do more strength/weight training but I just don't. Anyway I'm coming up on ten years since I started this program and I've maintained the whole time, so I am happy with that. On my next birthday, in about a month, I'll be 70, thats also the 10th anniversary of the beginning of all this. If y'all will indulge me a little bit I will do a little boasting and say that within my hunting peer group I do all the stand hanging and taking down because none of the others are able. I must admit, I do take some satisfaction from that. Don't judge me to much

I personally dont. Would this be ingested? Or as a topical treatment?

Keep at it Jim, never stop!

I do ride bikes with a wide age range of people on my group rides. Regularly ride with a couple guys in there late 70's and they have no problem kicking the younger guys butts once and awhile.

Its very impressive what you have done and continuing to do. I hope to be like you when i get to that age.

Well got in my little circuit of body weight exercises last night. Mostly push ups, dead hangs and a few shoulder stretches to loosen them up.

Then got up this morning and jumped on the bike trainer for a hour. Still a little sore from 2 days ago, but once warmed up, did fine. Already hating riding indoors, and ive only done it twice. Come on weather! I want to get back outside.
