I'm a fat, lazy POS right now.

I've been maintaining a 2-3 workout per week clip but my diet is just awful. Worked out yesterday and got in 225 flights of stairs followed by leg day. I plan on working out both tomorrow and Thursday as well. We'll see about Friday.

Hunting season + holidays kills me every single year.

Pushed myself on the stairs this morning and got 234 flights done. 230 is my benchmark for when I'm pushing hard and not just going through the motions. Followed that with lat pulldowns, shoulder side raises, upright rows, bent over single arm rows, bent bar curls and some cable crunches to finish it off.

I've still been at it 2 or 3 times a week. Knee is better, so rotating squats back in today after a couple months. I got down less than 170 at one point, which is way too light for my liking. Back up to 174 and I feel really good.

I am frustrated as hell. My iron level is at 800 below the threshold of treatment at 1000. Thing is at 800 there are still days you feel crappy. My insurance will only pay for the ferritin blood test every 6 months. I found an independent lab that will do the ferritin test for $40 cash, I want to know if the levels fluctuate or is high on the days I feel like crap. I also found my condition is not contagious in anyway. Blood Mobiles and blood donation centers test hemoglobin for low iron not high. I am going to try to work it so I can donate 2 times a month and see if my iron levels can get to the normal range. That or I will find a paramedic or somebody to take blood out of me.

Blood donation seems like a pretty good solution. Have you been donating every 56 days?

No was told I could not because of my iron levels. Going to try Friday morning, see if I pass the hemoglobin test, from what I read they only screen for low iron.

They accepted my blood, huge step forward. Should get some relief. They did the double red blood cell that removes more ferritin.

234 flights of stairs, followed by some leg exercises: leg extensions, leg curls, calf raises, and weighted step-ups. Ended with cable crunches and glute raises. I'm going for 4 workouts this week.

    Data from my HR strap.

My knees were barking pretty good this morning but I powered through 230 flights of stairs. I had to really ramp up the speed those last 3 minutes to hit my goal, but I made it. Followed with back/shoulders day - lat pulldowns, seated cable rows, cable side raises, endless rope pulldowns, farmer carries and upright rows.

I tried a 2 minute tabata sprint on the endless rope pulldowns and holy crap, that was a killer! The first 20 seconds was hard, but the next 3 sets were almost impossible. I felt like I was going in slow motion.

Workout #3 for the week wasn't my best, but I got it done.

A 20-minute warmup on the stairs—140 flights—followed by chest flies, dips, decline bench press, seated cable presses, and an incline dumbbell press.

Did Rower Sprints for an interval workout yesterday. 2 minutes on hitting at least 500m in distance, 1 min rest. Did 5 total yesterday, short on time.

Got my fourth workout in for the week. Hooray!

Pushed it on the stairs and hit 236 flights this morning. Followed up with a bit of a full-body workout. Calf raises, single leg presses, lat pulldowns, seated cable rows, overhead tricep extensions, cable curls, tricep pulldowns and cable crunches.

I could not fall asleep last night and at 11 pm all I could think about was my alarm going off at 4:45. Ugh. When it finally went off I snoozed a few times, but I eventually won the inner battle and ended up at the gym. Today was elliptical day - 4.6 miles in 30 minutes. Followed by some sort of back/shoulders workout. Shoulder side raises, seated rows, lat pulldowns, endless loop pulldowns and single arm bent over dumbbell rows.

Nothing too crazy, but a good start to the week. I'm shooting for another 4x workout week before Christmas. Let's go my dudes.
