Don't mess around with those symptoms. I would go to the nearest er and get an ekg and cardiac enzymes drawn. That way you know for sure. We can't lose you. Who else is going to keep us idiots in line?!?!?

Thanks I'll be fine, laying very low today and took BP 123/72 68 BPM

Concidering that scared me enough to call Doc AND I use to take Bp meds for 10 years until 2yrs ago.
If it weren't for age I'd not thought twice about it, seeing I'd raked then shoved a full wheel barrel of rocks yesterday. Though I've had too many different other indicators this month.

Well there was a huge change, one a.m. I woke up in agony . Went to bed feeling fine. Some how I got a pinched nerve in my lower back through left side and hip.
Long /short, no sleep and zero relief before Doc. appointment. EKG looked good , they were more concerned about the back nerve issue. I honestly was looking pretty rough . My stride wasa 6 inch wincing shuffle.
I'm now on Prednisone and a strong muscle relaxant . They sent me to the hospital to get blood panels done for my heart and another lyme test.
First 2 pills put me to sleep, actually right after taking I dozed off 3x times sitting on deck while potty breaking dogs. Hit bed with heating pad and I was out 5 hrs. Pain rewoke me, but not as bad.

So This enire thing is absolutely STUPID!!!! Why I chose a sports medicine group as my Doctor's. Years ago

Woke up at 5 am, got dressed, took my pre-workout and vitamins, grabbed my gym bag and water bottle, headed to the gym, got halfway through the parking lot and realized I forgot my phone at home. I stood there for a few seconds pondering my next move.

    - Go workout anyway without any music, then go to work and deal with not having a phone all day? This is a viable option, but not having my phone for the multitude of MFA codes I need to log into things all day long isn't going to work.
    - Go home, shower, change, eat breakfast, and come to work, forgoing my workout entirely? This is enticing, but not ideal.
    - Go home, workout anyways, then shower, change, breakfast, come to work. Much better!

I ended up doing a 5-minute stretch/warm-up followed by a 25-minute kettlebell HIIT routine. Worked up a good sweat, got the HR up for a bit, and felt better for doing so.

Got in a big ride last night. Really hurting today. Not because of distance, but the heat. Had a heat index of around 104 with humidity. I worked all day in it, then went and rode for 3 1/2 hours. I weight myself ever morning to mostly keep me in check and monitor water loss. Well in the last 24 hours I lost 10 lbs of weight. I was 177 lbs this morning. Haven't seen that number in almost 20 years. Just means I'm severely dehydrated. Screenshot_20240710_125808_Strava.jpg

30 minutes / 235 flights on the stair machine this morning. Legs are pretty sore from yesterday's kettlebell swings and squats, but I forced myself to tough it out. Followed up with chest day - cable flies, flat bench, incline dumbbell press, decline bench.

Baseball is just about over, and my boys start football conditioning next week. I like to walk/ruck while they're at practice in the evenings instead of sitting around on my butt like everyone else. Need to get the legs whipped back into better shape before hunting season rolls in. It will be here before you know it!

Lot of activity this weekend. I hiked 5 miles with a buddy scouting a piece of public on Saturday morning. Spent Sunday afternoon at the MIL's house emptying a room of hoarded crap so the leaking roof can be repaired.

Friday was back squats and deadlifts.

Today was pull ups, push ups, bench press and barbell rows.
