South Florida boy, James Grage a popular influencer, gym owner in Weston (Miami/Broward line) and supplement entrepreneur and the old Miami Dolphins trainer ,talking on shoulder pain. This stuff has completely changed my life incredibly and translated into archery shooting.

The no stretch zone is amazing once you incorporate a full on warm up to your workout.

Definitely a common injury and some good advice there.

I am not saying I am strong. I am just saying that at Top Golf this afternoon, I hit the ball so hard that the head snapped off my 3-iron and flew 100 yards into the range. The ball went farther.

Fitting video as my right shoulder was barking at me a bit this morning. Thanks for the share!

This weekend was pretty dang good from a fitness standpoint. Saturday I crushed a 90 minute session at the gym and hit a new PB 235 flights/30 min on the stairs. I followed that with a solid pull day and some core work as usual. For my outdoor workout I spent 2 hours chainsawing trails open on my hunting property in the afternoon.

Sunday morning I rucked while my son was at his pitching lesson in the morning. 45 minutes, just a touch over 3 miles and a 15:02 pace for the full ruck. That was with 55 lbs + pack weight. I was sweating my nuts off when I got done. My afternoon workout as the same - 2 hours of chainsaw work at my hunting property. That was after 2 hours of running baseball evaluations for 7-8 year olds and then helping out to my son's travel practice and working with my own 7 year old on some fielding and hitting work. By last night I was WIPED.

This morning was a solid 221 flights followed by a mild push day - dips, chest flies, skull crushers, incline bench, and incline situps. Nothing too crazy but enough to get the blood flowing and feel good about winning the day.

    Who you BS-ing ? Not strong ?

    Please

    You’re not human.

Why am I not surprised ?

Those 40 pound hammers not making those forearms stronger ? That’s gotta help swing grip providing less wobble upon contact for a firmer hit. Just 1 item of many you’re crushing.

Your club speed probably has increased and you may not know it if you never went to one of those places that time it ?

We have a huge PGA owned shop here. Never walked in, not a golfer but am told they have equipment to break down your swing including club head speed.

You golfers should do that. I would if I golfed ? No ?

Anyway congratulations and Keep Hammering. Remember the old man got 50# hammers x12. Getcha 60’s this week !! Easy as sheeeet for you. Make that club melt in your grip next time out swinging.

It probably has more to do with the fact that these are the same clubs I had in high school. I hardly ever golf anymore. I have played but a handful of rounds since having kids.

Now that is badass! Good for him.

My 110 lb sixth grader put my 55 lb pack on the other day and jogged down our street and back. I was impressed with 1/2 of his body weight.

Did shoulders and legs today. I am so amazed how well my shoulders are feeling since I’ve dropped trying to stretch my biceps after warming up and replaced that with a “warming” 20 rep set with full range of motion.

Last night was an easy no-weight walk with the dog for a little over 3 miles. Just enough to stretch my legs and get my butt up off the couch.

This morning, I spent 35 minutes on the elliptical, followed by calf extensions, single-leg presses, leg curls, leg extensions, single-leg toe touches, and leg raises. I brought my rucking stuff with me today, so I'm going to do that immediately after work and then take a trip to D1ck's to let my boys spend all of my money on some baseball equipment.

Tonight's my Tuesday night bike ride. It's in the mid 40's with high winds. I'm trying my hardest to chicken out, but trying to stay strong and go anyway. Last week it was 70's. The rest of the week isn't looking much better. Just going to have to do it!

Not a traditional work out this weekend, but completely destroyed myself. I worked all weekend preparing to put in a foundation. I hand dug out a sump and installed it. Took about a yard of dirt. Then dug off all the mud on the footers and power washed. Then over 2 days hand carried over 500 cinder blocks down into the foundation. And moved another 300 up top with a machine. My whole body hurts still.

Back and biceps today after voting in our local election for mayor etc.

Hoping to get some arrows in @ the range later and take advantage of the extra hour of daylight. It is Taco Tuesday too

I've been breaking things up lately on a 4 day a week schedule. Typically, Monday is chest with high volume
Tuesday is arms also high volume
    Wednesday 10x10 squats
    Thursday off
    Friday back.
Just didn't really like the typical splits. I always felt like I missed something.
Some weeks I'll go on Saturday or Sunday just to get a pump and loosen up.

Still around 180 lbs, but wow, I've changed for the better.
