Well, I consumed enough calories yesterday to sustain me for the next week.

Did NOT want to get out of bed this morning, but I dragged myself to the gym and powered through a pretty good workout. 30 min / 215 flights of stairs followed by a light leg day. I'm still nursing that back muscle soreness and didn't want to overdo it. Single leg press, calf extensions, leg curls, and weighted step-ups was good for today.

Ah the male imponderable, why does it take a woman so long to get "ready?"

I feel I did good over the long holiday weekend. Did eat some junk type foods, but didn't over do it. A few family members did comment on why I wasn't getting more food. I just chugged water the whole time and it keep me full. Still did my 50+ push ups every day and some other body weight work outs. I still have a problem with my shoulder and seems to not getting better since I started doing push ups. Not sure if the risk is worth the reward on that yet on that.

Also I'm trying to finish my build of my XC race bike today. Will see if I can and when I do, I will post a pic. It's kind of the same feeling when you get a new bow and build it up and take that first shot.

Ran three days in a row. Maybe four miles total. Added in some strength training.

Venison meatloaf = health and fitness?

4 runs this week. Longer run planned for tomorrow so today is just a little stretching and body weight stuff. 250 push ups and 50 pull ups.

    Great workout

Is there any truth to the rumour or wife’s tales that bike seat riding hurts the prostate ?

Genese cream ale was what we drank in college @ WCSU bought in Brewster NY in 1/2 kegs.

Between Christmas and getting ready and driving to Florida last week, I never got to the gym at all. BUT yesterday I went and signed up to the local planet fitness, so tomorrow is go time. It will be interesting to see how much zippity I've lost in my do da not being at the gym for more than a week.

Yes at first like anything, takes time to get use to the seat. I've bought many seats over the years to find the right one. Also the more time in the saddle, you build muscle that supports you. But the number one thing is a good pair of bike shorts with a chamois liner. Worth its weight in gold!

Well I roped a couple old friends into a combined 1500 mile run challenge for 2024. Two of us aren't lightweights so this should be interesting. Haha.

Did a light upper body workout yesterday, first workout in almost two weeks. Getting over a small cold that my youngest had all over Christmas break and shared with the rest of us. The joys of parenting.

I'm 3 for 3 on workouts since the holiday. This morning I was running late and only got about 45 minutes in, but it's better than nothing!

Seriously contemplating another run at 75 Hard starting on 2/1. I'm traveling a little too much this month to really invest in it right now. If anyone wants in, let me know! It's more fun when other people are suffering with you.

I failed yesterday. Missed my first workout in 3 weeks. I did install 6 skylights in freezing Temps, and didn't get home til 8:30 last night. I was beat, so decided to not workout. But will continue tonight. About time to start biking! Got a huge drive to push my self this year on my bike. Got some major goals I want to achieve.
