Just got back from a week in the outer banks. Ate like a pig all week. Time to get back on track. I hope everyone is staying after it!

Definitely! Feels good to get back in the gym. A week off was just what I needed to get some of my achy joint to settle down.

Just completed an hour long cardio workout. Didn't get my heartrate above above 130 bpm or so but didn't stop moving for an hour. I'm gonna give the deer hell this season. Lol

A 5 mile ruck with 60# in the pack to get the day started. Shooting well. Getting restless waiting on the season to start.

Ive walked 6 miles and run 6 miles since Sunday. That and pushups and pullups. Trying to increase the volume of work on my legs for hunting season.

banged out a 12:43 1.5 miles yesterday evening in 85*/90% humidity. Might not be impressive to some but that's almost 3 minutes shorter than when I started 2 -3mos ago. I'm running on a local 1/4 mile track so everything is measured right. 3rd lap killed me- 2:30. It's always my worst lap.

My shins are beat up this AM!

My joints have been giving me issues. I was working around sore joints and creating new problems so I ditched the heavy lifting for now. Been doing bootcamp style workouts and riding the bike 20-30 miles day on the weekend when time allows. Diet has been on point.
I'm looking forward to fall and bumping my calories up a little.

Similar with some joint pain, but primarily in one shoulder. I'm gonna try to see the ortho before the season...hopefully some cortisone will carry me through another season.

Also added in some boot camp workouts and circuit training.

    Still another month. Argggg.

Hopefully you get some relief. Thankfully pulling doesn't bother mine as much as pushing does. I have toyed with the idea of getting an injection but have held off.

The wife signed us up at the Y a couple months ago, so I figured I'd take advantage of the Tues & Thurs morning (5:15am) boot camp classes. Good mix of aerobic/cardio, body work, strength and endurance.

Glad I added it to the repitoire. I'm feeling pretty good, for an old guy.

Shot a few bad rounds from 50yds last night. Moved back to 65 and had them all within a few inches...I can't figure that one out...

I run a mile...lift hard and fast for about 45 minutes...then finish with a mile run, 4 days a week...on 2, off 1, on 2, off 2. Same basic routine for about 5 years now. I switch up every 8 weeks between pyramids, super sets, strength and endurance for shock.

The biggest change is my diet. During the spring/summer, I run a low carb, high fat diet. During the fall/winter, I run a high carb, low fat diet.

Get to work from home 50% of the time starting next week. Getting rid of the gym membership and will be doing an at home routine.

So far I've been doing 50 pushups, 50 sit ups, and 50 dumbell curls with 20lbs. Will up the reps after a little while.

I don't get to crazy, mainly keeping my heart rate between 130-140 for an hour...that, and trying to stay in good enough shape to do the things I enjoy.

Josh you inspired me with your workouts. I walked 3 to 4 miles yesterday in the heat yesterday. Then read your post and did a couple hundred push ups and other stuff. I need to get down to 215 lbs. That is a good weight for me. I keep hovering around 230.
