I'm on the bench again for a couple days. TRT pellet insertion today. Went in my flank this time, so fingers crossed no complications this go round

I failed. Haha. But I've slowly upped my fasting over the past couple weeks. I shot my bow today and scouted. Worked up a small appetite. Made it 18 hrs.

My system for the past week has been to eat one egg or one egg and a piece of bacon for breakfast , then eat a medium sized high fat meal at lunch. So most days I go from 9pm to noon the next day with only 75 to 150 calories. I'm losing a ton of weight. Never thought this type of system would work.

You just take the calories away, the weight comes off. It's such a mental thing. Keep it up! Your body will thank you. Think the best I could do was 15 - 16 hours fast.

I have read mark rippitoes stuff. I like his stuff for the most part. We have strength coaches, dietitians and physical therapists assigned to each unit. So we have a guy who personalizes workouts for each of my teammates.

Simple is how I roll. Ground venison (150-200 grams). Add mustard and a few pickles if your feeling crazy. Eat.

After I read this post I realize I’m basically fasting every day. Most days during the week I eat around 5-6. I generally won’t eat until the next day around that time. After 4 days of cardio I did have some turkey slices with pickles today around 2. Otherwise it’s just coffee and water until 5pm.

Scale is down to 179 this morning. Been doing the usual full body split at the gym and cardio session have been 2-3 mile runs or an hour or more on the bike. Calories are down to 1800. Protein 1 gm per pound of body weight at least. Carbs have been around 100g per day sometimes a little more, sometimes less.
Need to be 178 or less by next weekend.

Getting lean and mean! That's awesome. I'm about ready to start getting fluffy again and move some weights around.

Have fun! Those days are over for me. How much of a surplus are you going to run?

I got cleared to start 2 a days again as long as I keep the second one light for now, so that begins today. I hate holding back but lifting is therapy.

Since I'm stuck at home and can't move, decided to fast for a little bit and see how long I can go. Started at 7pm last night. 15 hours in and fell fine so far. I know it's the toughest from here on.

My legs have felt a bit heavy the past 10 days or as I have been limiting carbs. Thinking my electrolyte intake isn't up to par. Will remedy that each morning and see if it makes a change. I may not be a guy that can handle under 50g carbs each day. Might have to up them to near 100.
