    I have not been on my bike on a trail in almost 2 weeks. Driving me nuts! My plan was get up early tomorrow and do a fast paced ride. But more heavy thunderstorms supposed to hit this evening! Can't win. I just don't like the trainer. Ugh

    It was so humid! But I got out there this morning at 7 to try and beat the heat. Just trying to do 2 hours at a fast pace. Haven't been on the trails in 2 weeks. The trails were almost perfect. Felt good for the most part. I'm definitely not great at riding first thing in the morning, took about 5 miles before my legs woke up. Screenshot_20230708_105316_Strava.jpg

    Just made my goal of only eating meat and eggs for 24 hrs. Made it 12 hrs without food then ate one egg, one piece of bacon, plus some coffee. Ran and walked 2.5 Miles. Ate 2 hrs after that. Maybe 5 ounces of ground beef. A few hrs later I ran and walked 2.5 miles again. Then ate 4 eggs and about 8 ounces of ground beef, plus a handful of baby spinach. Pretty much 0 carbs or sugar.

    My body is slowly learning how to use increased amounts of fat as fuel.

    Well my weight in was pretty good. 183.6. I should be able to get my weight down to 178 or lower in 12 days which is what I need to do.
    As someone who is looking at cutting back on work and traveling more it’s important for me to be able to break the cycle of eating like an idiot when I’m not home. I made some progress in that regard on this trip and need to build on that moving forward.

    Well boys, I leave in less than 48hrs. I feel like even though I missed my scale goal by a pound, I am more ready for this "test" than I could have ever asked for. I'm not bringing my phone so this might be it. Pics to follow in a few weeks. Thanks for taking this journey with me. Dropping 29.1 lbs and gains like I have not seen since HS. Don't stop getting after it. Think about it before you eat it, and yes... You can get one more rep.

    We are hiking everyday except one. That day we will be scuba diving the GBR. That monster hike though, we are still in heated debate . It is scheduled for day 3. The point of contention is, if it's too much it could affect the rest of the trip.
    We just finished packing and unpacking then packing again. Heading to the gym while they do pedicures .

    Ready to get back into a groove. Took off about 10 days I think. Of everything. Threw my diet and cardio out the window all last week.

    Heading to Vegas next Friday let’s see if I can drop this 10lbs I gained (I know I will).
