Flying back to MO this evening... squeezing out some burpees in the FL heat while I still have the chance. Lucky me

    10 beers a day plus 4 burgers=1lb a day. LOL!

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and ALL of the boat snacks every day. I truly hope that most of that weight is water. I did weigh myself at the end of the day... One can only hope haha.

I'm 40 and a handful of pounds overweight for no reason other than bad eating and laziness.
In the last week I've dropped 7.5 pounds by doing no snacks, no sweets - except the fruit/berries we grow, and ice cream once (explained in the fishing thread). Water intake is way up, and I've been averaging about 12,000 steps a day, not a ton but I have a desk job where I sit all day long so to get there is a concerted effort to get up and go get a couple thousand steps in over lunch, getting up early and walking around the block etc.

    I'm 6'3 6'4 ish I hit 227 and said NO, I was 219.6 this morning.
I think my body should be around 190 so thats the long term goal.

Plus being down to 190 will really help my volleyball playing, a little more height on my jumps will make my spikes all the better.

I'm sure the high salt content of the food pushed you a few more lbs of water weight. Should come off quick

When I went to Disney with the kids last fall, I gained a hard 5 lbs. It took me close to 6 months to get rid of that. Just ate junkie food and drinks all week, then I paid for it for months. Didn't help that it was winter, not doing much activity on top of it.

Ok guys, with all the talk of splurging and falling off the horse, it got me to think about weaknesses, we all have them. So for you, what is your kryptonite? Something you have a real hard time resisting. For me it's crunchy sweet. I have a hard time resisting anything that crunches well and is sugary. Back when I was still working I participated weekly in a cardiac clinic. The cardiologist, THE CARDIOLOGIST would bring in several huge bags of peanut m&m's. We would all totally gorge ourselves on those things throughout the day. I don't know, maybe he was trying to drum up future business. Another thing I can barely resist is an Oreo Mcflurry. Again, crunchy sweet. I think it's important to recognize what our temptations are and either avoid them or prepare ourselves mentally when we know we're going to come in contact with it. So what are some of y'alls weaknesses? Don't be ashamed, we ALL have them!

    2 main weaknesses
Chips (salty) of all kinds, what they say is true, I can't eat just one.
    Sweets - of all kind

so yea, if its salty or sweet I feel compelled to eat it.
I'm able to semi control myself with the salty, for the sweet right now I've been snacking on some apricots my FIL dehydrated.
Get the sweet and some sour with them, enough to hold me away from the other junk

My two biggest are Coke Cola and ice cream. I don't drink alot of cokes, maybe 1 every other day. Ice cream I could eat every day. But same with that I eat maybe every other day. I know what you mean about adding crunchy. Just last night I took a chocolate chip cookie and crumbled it up into peach ice cream, one of my favorites!

Chocolate obsessed here. Can't keep me out of it. We got those salted, dark chocolate coveted caramels a while back. Forgive me Father, for I have sinned!

There are some decent light ice creams that are like 1/3rd-1/2 the normal calories. This one is fantastic!

Read some stuff on msg the other day. Didn't know it was actually a neural exciter. It tricks the brain into believing the food tastes better than it actually does naturally. Dangerous crap.

That being said, I could eat General Tsos chicken every day.

I put on 4.8 lbs during my week in Northern Michigan. Too many shandies, ice cream and chips & dip I guess.

Back to business this morning now that I'm home. Did a solid 90-minute session at the gym, followed by a clean breakfast and lunch. I need to meal prep tonight for the next week or so, including the weekend. Hunting season is coming, and I need to be in tip-top shape when I'm wrestling that Booner out of a ravine in November. :)

I’m not picky, I like all kinds of junk food. I don’t have anything that I can’t resist but try to keep all of it out of the house. Truth be told I would rather eat a ridiculous amount of food than anything particular.

Anything sweet after I eat my main meal of the day. Peanut butter, chocolate rice cakes, and honey have helped that tremendously.

Sour candy is one thing I love love love.
