Right on the bone. Assume it’s similar to splints from too much hard impact/stress.

Sounds like shin splints. Take it for a couple of days and it will probably go away with the new shoes.

So my youngest and wife drove to Pittsburgh to watch T swift. I went out for Mexican with my oldest, then ice cream. My first real cheat. But we are getting up early and hitting the gym crazy hard tomorrow.

Went up a bunch from a great day yesterday so me and my oldest decided to try out our new packs with a 7 mile hike. Besides my hands swelling it was great. No soreness and didn't even get tired. [IMG]

See if not fastening the chest helps avoid the swelling hands...

My hands constantly do it on hikes, and long walks. Been to just about every specialist you can name and no one understands it. Going to a neurologist in July

Not that unusual. Mine will swell up a little during death marches down the beach.

30 minutes on the spin bike, pull ups, smith machine incline bench press, OH DB press, rear delts, lateral raises, DB curls. Decent work out for vacation. Will fry legs kiteboarding today.

I got out yesterday for 2.5 mile hike. Kind a father's day tradition now. Wife, 2 kids and my dad. Not much for aerobic workout, but just a great morning with the family. My dad is 82 now and just glad he still pushing himself, although his knees and back are shot. He also planning about 10 mile bike ride this week. He's not ready to give up. Proud of the old man

My plans for eating clean this weekend went out the window before we even got to Saturday. I ended up putting on 3 lbs between Friday and this morning. But we had a blast, and I don't regret it one bit. That was our only out-of-town baseball tournament for this year and probably the last for this group of kids and parents, so we went out with a bang. Now it's back to the grind and time to get serious about the last 10 pounds I need to lose.

Today was a really good 30-minute sweat session on the elliptical followed by push day. I've been going with a slightly lower weight recently and really focusing on my form and range of motion. Today's workout was dips, chest flies, decline bench (barbell), incline bench (dumbbells) and overhead cable tricep extensions.

210 flights of stairs this morning while watching two women get into an argument because one accused the other of "reserving" a machine that she wanted to use. It was very entertaining.

Followed that up with pull day - lat pulldowns, seated cable rows, bent over dumbbell rows, upright rows, curls for the girls and a little bit of core work - leg lifts and cable crunches.

Have a good day, my dudes!

My diet is trash every single weekend. Especially now during the summer where we have weddings, grad parties, and vacations basically every weekend for the next 3 months.

Oh well. All part of the game. Haven’t meal prepped for this week either since we had the family over for Father’s Day. Leftover bacon grilled cheese I made on the smoker.

Oh well. All part of the game. 90+ degrees for the next 3 days should be fun getting my cardio in.

I prepped meals at 10 pm last night for the rest of this week. I was out with my sons and their buddies playing Blitzball at the local baseball field until after 9. Gotta enjoy life while you can!

Got me a little heavy bag. So I just did sets of 6 to 10 reps on light deadlifts, barbell rows, then "hit" heavy bag for 45 seconds. Kept that cycle for 15 min with no rest. Then went into some maintenance stuff for my abs and hamstrings. Worked up a good sweat. Operation inflammation removal starts today. 1 week of getting it out so I can push further forward. Right knee medial soreness has crept up (thanks college surgery).
