I need to build an excersize station out in the garage. I need to stud mount a circle screw and attach a ski tow rope so I can do 1 leg lifts with a weighted vest on.

Took the family camping Saturday - Tuesday. We did some hiking and hanging out, relaxing. I had some high step counts for the days despite not actually working out: 23033, 24666, 20857, 14173. Averaged 8 miles per day with all the walking. Doing this for a body weight workout today:

3 rounds, 10 reps per exercise:

    Planks with arm reach
    Supermans
    Decline Push Ups
    Supermans
    Bent Over I, Y, T raises
    Supermans
    Pike Push Ups
    Supermans
    Burpees

Ran 2.25 miles with the last mile a quick run slightly uphill. Wow that hurt. I'm gonna sleep well tonight.

So I cleared the cement apron of the thick ice and cleared the sidewalk yesterday, got after it and worked up a sweat. Zero soreness amazing feeling, nice not to feel like an old man.

I think I pulled one of the muscles in my right calf with all the hiking I did while camping with the family last week during Spring Break. It seemed to be doing alright to deadlift on Friday. But, I think the hiking while scouting on Saturday and three hours of baseball practice with my boys Sunday afternoon flared it up again. Walking down stairs is a little uncomfortable. I may just do upper body work this week.

    Today:

    Barbell Push-Press 95lbs/8, 105lbs/8, 115lbs/6 and 6
    Medicine Ball Slams 4 x 12 @15lbs
    Barbell Rows 100lbs/8, 125lbs/8, 150lbs/8
    Rope Face Pulls 3 x 12 reps @50lbs
    DB Row 60lbs/ 10 per arm, 65lbs/10 per arm x 2 sets
KB Overhead Carry @20lbs for 30 yards on each arm
    Rope Slams 3 x 25 reps

You guys are a bunch of animals! :hail:

Day 56 of 75 Hard and I'm still stuck at 20 lbs lost. I can't seem to crack under the 200 lb mark, but I have a feeling that will change before this week ends. I'm eating at a pretty significant calorie deficit every day, so my body can't hang onto this weight forever.

I did a pretty rough KB circuit on Sunday morning, and my hamstrings and glutes are paying for it right now. Yesterday morning was pull day, and afternoon was a 3-mile hike with no weight. I consider those my "active recovery" workouts. I was going to do push day this morning, but my shoulder is a little tender, so I opted for a long steady-state cardio workout on the elliptical. Went for 65 minutes and got in just shy of 9 miles. Depending on how my legs feel tonight, I may or may not throw some weight on my back for the evening hike.

This weekend I'll be out of town for youth turkey season with my son, so I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to finagle my workouts in. I will probably bring my kettlebells with and do some circuits in the barn and then go for a hike. That's my current plan anyways.

24 hour cheat day, then get right back to the strict diet. Your scale will change.

Still doing my push ups, sit ups, light weight curls and squats but not being careful on what I eat but I knew that would be the hardest part going in. I figure if I can make my arms, shoulders and legs bigger my beer ball aka stomach won’t look as big, but I do feel better just being a little more active.

    2nd mountain bike ride.

Did another 12 miles on the dot.
    9.1 mph average.

Little less miles as last week, but did it a little faster. Next ride will be a ride to failure. Want to see what my threshold is. There is a XC race that is local in about 3 weeks and want to see if I can get into race shape by then.

Working around this pulled muscle in my mid back has sucked. It's almost gtg, but I've had to be very careful with mostly lighter weight, higher reps on dang near everything. I've just not hit rows, which sucks because I love chest/back day. Yesterday I hit shoulders and arms and I'm a little sore today.

Finished up a good training week on Sunday. 80 degrees today. Ran/walked 6 miles. Was a little more difficult than I thought it would be...but at least I finished what I started.

75 Hard - Day 63 check-in. Down 22 lbs since the start. I'm really trying to get another 3 lbs in the next 12 days before I'm done. I want to hit that 25 mark.

Beyond that I'm still on a mission to get to 180 lbs. Currently sitting at 198.

    Let's go!
