Split squats for your knees. Trust me. That will help strengthen and stretch your knee joint. Add in some basic hip exercises like side leg movements and your knees will improve big time....will prevent your knees from rotating inside as you run. 2 years ago I made it a priority based on my knee history.

75 Hard Day 20 update - so far, so good. Weight has fluctuated a bit the past few days, going up a bit and then down a bit. It always amazes me how weight loss is never linear. In my mind, I think I should lose just a little bit of weight every day, which never actually happens. I'll be the same weight for three days, then drop a 1 to 1.5 lbs seemingly overnight. Then I'll gain back 0.5 lbs just to lose another one the next day. It's very strange. Which is why it's best to look at trends over a week or so, rather than every day. BUT, weighing every day is my best motivation to keep after it. When I lose, it feels great. When I gain, it pisses me off so I work even harder.

Anyways, the weekend was really good. I did a couple of early morning rucks on Saturday and Sunday which were a great way to kick off the day. Warmer temps and sunshine are good for the soul.

I watched the grandsons on Friday
Son took mom to Birthday night out.
Sunday I was queasy then the throat started dry, scratchy, very sore. Ifinally got to sleep just as hubbies alarm went off. Well I took a flash light and took a look, throat is ANGRY!!! Red streaks ,blotches, and yellow spots. I have to be at deaths door to develope a fever. I normally run over a degree lower than stated norms.
Called and asked if anyone has recently had strep . Yep one of the boys within last two weeks.
Still went out and got a bunch of garden work done...I feel like crap though.

Putting this here for the diet guys. High protein low carbs
It's a " breading " for what ever you like frying I suppose. It works in air fryer as well with a good spray.
    Big batch..it keeps
80 gs of ground pork rinds, 60 gs of egg white powder( not protein that won't work )
Tbsp. and a half of powdered beef gelatin mix all together well.
    Then any spices you want
Tonight I did wild turkey nuggets I had let sit in a egg and cream wash. Then coated them well and fried them in a combo of mainly olive oil with a bit of bacon fat added. They browned beautifully and had a great crunch out side juicy inside. No greasiness to them at all. This breading adheres tightly to what it coats even during cooking and I flipped often. Man I don't feel good and it even tasted great to me and I never fry food I don't like the taste. Don't like the smell. There wasn't a smell.
So if you do a lot of fishing or turkey hunt you might want to give it a try. No actual bread or flour involved

I've been sick with some sort of nasty cold. Congestion and a cough that is probably the worst I've ever had and I haven't worked out in a week. Might do a light leg day today. I'm sure that will be fun.

I had a feeling someone would ask that. No, I have not, but I don't think this is covid. Been there. Pretty much everyone I know has this or knows someone who has this same thing. Just a nasty cold. I really haven't felt terrible actually. But this cough is unreal.

Last couple of days I've really felt a difference in my leg strength. Just a general sense of ease of walking and jogging.

I finally felt good enough to leave the house. Actually drove to local dollar store to get chick tub and heating pad plus hubby snacks. Dang down a week and go to Dollar General and even their shelves are pretty bare.
I have the broader set up, just checking if my home made broodheater will work. It's a heating pad without an auto turn off suspended on a cooling rack that the chicks can huddle under. I'm checking the temp right now last check it was 80 degrees under it. I need to cut the top and hardware clothe insert then zip tie that into place.

Feels good not to feel sick.
