Another brush pile loaded moved and unloaded. This had To be done climbing up and down a muddy embankment. Dislodging limbs, breaking them down before loading. Once moved stacking them on to the fencing piles. 2 -3 steady hours of this is a great work out.

I'm now getting ready to do another greenhouse build to house a flock of chickens/ducks. We are now going through a dozen eggs per day. This makes having chicken worth the cost. This Will be a cheap Amazon portable that will get a refit. I will be raised up onto a wood frame so the base is more secure and allow a deep mulch bedding to produce garden fertilizer. It will also allow a high perch system incase something does break/tunnel through. The wood frame will allow a better anchor and hurricane strapping attachment. As well as nest boxes. 20x10 raised to 10.
So I have site work digging and leveling then at least 10 post holes to dig to concrete posts in. Again great work outs

Rounded out my week with shoulders and arms today. All isolation as much as I can and everything to fail around 4th set on all. I'm too lazy to list it all. 80 minutes total. I am so sore this week all over, but I'm down to 175 pounds (I'm 5'9") from my peak of 195 in October of 21.

Our gym was closed today because of a snow storm. Soooo, I shoveled for almost two hours a heavy wet snow. I don't know what that counts for but I was sweating like a pig when I finished.

We don’t have a true sled for dragging so I stack a couple of 45lb plates together and loop a TRX strap set up through the plates and hold the handles to drag.

Well since I've been recuperating, my exercise routine has been...

    1. Going up and down the stairs a couple time a night to pee.

    2. Briskly walking from the couch to the office 30 plus times a day to check bowhunting.com to see if anybody has posted anything.

    3. Changed the air filter on the furnace today.

    4. Wife allows me to wash dishes now.

    5. I am allowed to pick up the small cat and throw him off my spot on the couch when I walk back from the office. Otherwise, I can only push the fat one off the couch. 18.7 lbs. Next Monday I will be allowed to lift 20 lbs if things look good. His fat @ss will be flying off my spot on the couch.

God I can't wait to get out of this house and go back to a normal life. 3 more weeks.

When I was in PT they had med doing drags at the gym. Obvious short but many reps of 95#'s. The weights were great in not only pulling but holding the weight backing up. At home I use an actual sled filled with wood or rocks. The sled allows a smoother pull over the grass and I use a weight belt from an old home gym.

Anybody have a strict schedule, like every other day, or six on, one off? I was doing 6 and one, but it was killin my butt. I'm currently doing every other day combining two muscle groups like chest and back or shoulders and arms. Leg day(s) is just legs though.

Just completed a 4 Mile run/walk to nearly finish off my first two week cycle as I push for my 24 Mile goal. Nothing spectacular...4 Mile run/walk in 52 min.

Ridge...I can't do 6 days a week anymore at 48. Need more recovery time...4 or 5 seems about right. 4 times a week if I pick up the intensity.

Son came today just to chunk wood. He did a few hinged beech ,some spring cut dead beech and a maple that one bad wind storm blew in half. I went in behind him and hauled it to the Gator trail. I also took the Gator over the trails severeral times to pack them before anymore snow.
Another good weight lifting and walking with weights work out. That maple was pretty dang heavy today.

Wife was picking the horse's stall tonight. I was getting bored watching her so I grabbed a 5 gallon bucket with about 4 gallons of water in it. Waited for Barbie's to have her back turned to me and briskly walked 20 feet and dumped the bucket of water in Arabella's water bucket in the stall. Then ran back with the bucket and didn't get caught. it was the most I lifted since the surgery and d@mned if it didn't feel good.

Barb gets done with the stall and walks over to the water bucket. She was not a happy camper when she found it already empty. She kind of snaps at me and says do you know how much that weighed. I said yep, should be about 33 lbs. She verbally abused me all the way home. Good times!!!

Tomorrow I am going to get out of the house and walk. Talking about 10 below with a bit of a wind but I don't care.

Today was another work, workout. Did more ironing, then went out and did a complete shovel of drive, parking, mail box, and around out buildings. Then took a walk out back . Found blind I missed on shutting windows so did that then went down the hill to mid hill streams and swamp. I decided to start the brush pile fence down along problem line. This allowed me to start opening up the ground between streams and stream beds. Alot of the area was impassable due to years of dead and dying beech, witch hazel, and birch bark cherry. I managed to lay down a good foundation to add to the fence weekly from line stake a hundred yards and past two of his tower blinds. The deer use to walk those streams often especially during season. Kept them lower than banks. Not real deep but enough. Whole sections are totally blocked off.I got a fair portion cleared but need the saw. Heavy wet wood, a good work out until my feet were soaking wet and in 4" of snow. A very good day, but forgot to eat. Looks like my dinner will be now and hubbies when he gets home.
