I saw 6 deer this evening. 5 does and one decent buck at about 50 yds. the does of course came in alert and close and the buck avioded them and made a B line in the opposite direction. He had other plans i guess..I would say he was maybe 90-100" I don't think he was a shooter this early in the game, but one thing is for sure, he wanted no parts of those does. He walked passed them sort of, and passed up the acorns they were eating..he was moving at about 6:30 pm. This week has been strange, but I can conclude that if you find a few acorns they will be close to them and come to eat when it's time. Im going to go to my property on Sat 8,000 acrs!! Lots of land and lots of deer, but 0 acorns. Ag fields and green vegitation so wish me luck!
