    Windows Movie Maker is pretty straight forward and easy to use. It's what I use!

    I went with the Adobe Premier Elements. I haven't been able to use it much yet but I chose it because it can be used in a beginner mode or do some more advanced things as well. Basically, it gives me room to grow as a videographer and self filmer. I chose to buy once rather than going cheap to see if I like it because I hate having to buy twice
