I think we should start a seperate contest on the other animals we take during deer season. Turkey: hen 25points, jake 35 points, tom 50 points. yotes: 50 points rabbits 25 points squirrel: 25 points you get the Idea. Think we can get them to go along with it?
Where I deer hunt... it's deer only. No squirrels, no turkeys.. not even the coyotes.. (which are freakin' everywhere) So, I'm jealous at you guys who can hunt other stuff.
I'm guessing this is bow only as well? I shoot a ton of coyotes every year but havent got one with my bow.
So, another deer hunting contest that doesn't involve killing deer? My son hit a home run in football yesterday.
I can see how this would work in a "state" forum. The contest on Arkansashunting.net works similar to that, but all kills have to be within the state of Arkansas so the playing field is level. I don't see how it could be made to work on a national forum.

Yes bow only. I cant tell ya how many times I hear guys say that they were in thier stand and shot a yote or a coon or what ever So I thought it would be fun to really get the scores up high.
Well, the deer hunting contest isn't exactly a level playing field. Just typing...or saying...or both. I really don't talk when I type. There are voices in my head, but they never say anything out loud.
Maybe a year long hunting contest. Include all game animals. Some states close other seasons during deer season.
I'm in for all the extra caricular activities during deer season , i;ll shoot them regurdless of a contest or not ........:D
