    Yeah, it shouldn't be argued because it is pretty much fact.

    We are living in the most peaceful time in human history. The worst attack on school children was in 1927. A guy bombed an elementary school and killed 38 children, 6 adults, and wounded 58 others. This is nothing new. Humans kill each other. Obviously this was very tragic. I'm not trying to take away from the tragedy. When I found out about this, it brought both myself and my wife to tears. But people react by emotions too much.

    My boys are both homeschooled and part of they're curriculum is safe gun handling and marksmanship now. Their generation needs to know where we came from and how we got here, you can not rely on law enforcement to protect you. They are a reactionary team to find out who did it and why they did it. If you want to protect your kids teach them to protect themselves rather than hide behind laws that only keep weapons from law abiding citizens. We may not live in the 1700's anymore but the 2nd amendment is still just as relevant today as it was when written, maybe more so.

    I agree, emotions jump out of every corner... I still have to rely on the fact(in my mind) that if everyone had their heart in the right place...(I say God, because of my faith, Insert whatever you think gave us the ability to show love and peace and free choice to make decisions... good or bad.) you wouldn't see these things... But it has'nt been since the beginning and it won't be until the end.

    Really? What part did money power land greed and ego play into those wars? Blaming the holy bible is the same as charging gun manufacturers for the murders commited in the world. Humans have used the bible the Koran the pride of their nation and jealousy the reek much havoc on this world.
    This kid had issues that his parents and friends couldn't help him with, what about giving Jesus a chance?

    And before you start doing all your google searches on the topic keep in mind the culprit of the next mass murder is living among us today. With an open heart I know God can change him. I would not the same about a hourly Psychiatrist.

    Ill continue to pray for all of us.

    Actually, a lot has changed. Schools have more security than then. Our schools have police in them but not in grade schools. More needs to be done but the fact is that evil exist. There will always be the mentally disturbed as well. That will never change and as much as we want or try, it will not change.
