If nothing else has, this will get the attention of the whole country. This is heartbreaking but it will only get worse.

How can anyone feel safe leaving their homes?

It is very depressing to see these kinds of stories that are becoming FAR, FAR too common. Besides the horrible tradgedy of loss of life, you have to listen to all the "anti-gun" grumblings & reaction.

Exactly. And why is it we never hear about how someone with a gun SAVED lives? That also happens all too frequently. Lets start by taking down the "no concealed firearm" signs. These are the places these shootings seem to occur all the time. But wait. I didn't think guns were allowed in schools? Hm. Guess the criminals don't care.

To build off an earlier thread posted on here, this is certainly something that makes you really question your faith.

I truly hope there is a hell for this person to burn in for eternity.

I'm pretty numb to shootings and even mass killing, but when you target children. I can't even think of the words to describe my hatred for someone like this.

Please don't blame the weapon of choice, blame the person that chose the weapon.

Absolutely horrible. Makes me want to leave work and go hug my kids.

Here's a report from last week where a guy stopped an armed robbery with his handgun and his thanks from his employer? He was fired.

I know nothing about the shooter, not: age, race or anything

Who was the gun registered to? Where did the bullets come from?

I forgot the statistics, but it was something like 80% of violent crimes are committed by weapons that are not registered to the killer.

In these school shootings and even just gang-bangers....usually it is a stolen gun or at least not the shooters gun

WTF is the matter with people? I just can't even imagine. Seriously!!! These days, every teacher should be trained and able to carry. I have a 16 year old in high school and often worry about what could happen there...and now this even makes me worry about my 6 year old!
