Another Custom Cam Mount

    Just made this in about an hour with a simple L bracket, parts from a small camera tripod and a little drilling.

    The ball joint should work great for getting the correct angle.

    I think some camo tape and precision cutting of said tape will hide the bracket and camera pretty well!

    That looks great! Only problem is your holding it with the wrong hand and your rest is on the wrong side! LOL Let me know how it works!

    lol I seriously thought for a second.. "What does he mean!? Wrong side?? Oh...."

    I'll hopefully get to use it tomorrow!

    let me know how it works for you, i have done the same thing and both cameras i have used have shut off each time i shot because of the shock of the bow i am assuming.

    Haven't had a chance to test it yet - I took a tiny buttonbuck on Saturday (which I thought was a doe but I got excited and rushed) but the batteries of course died right before I got a shot opportunity :(

    Hopefully I can at least take a practice shot this weekend to see if what you mentioned actually happens.

    Bow Cam Test

    Got to take a few test shots - it didn't shut off. The camera is rather old (Nikon CoolPix L3) and doesn't do well in low light. Also, that rattling noise in the background is the autofocus....I think.
