It is cold this morning but warmer than yesterday!! 19 degrees with 5moh winds making it feel like 11-12 degrees. SSW winds so I have to climb into my least favorite stand 26feet up death tree on the edge of a ridge. Feels like a great morning to whack a deer, good luck to anyone going out and stay warm!

So I am hunting for a doe this morning and so far 4 bucks have shown. The largest being a 110" 6 pointer. Why does it always go down like this?

It was brisk this am. I managed to watch a decent 125ish buck bed with a doe about 130 yards from me.

But sadly.. I too was looking for a doe. Otherwise I wouldv'e been ready for a good stalk.

Still got them little ones teasing you.

I'm just hopeful the wind stays low for tomorrow morning. I'm sick of the wind!

I swear I have seen over 30 different buck out there this year. Today I saw four I have never seen including this 6 pointer. It was a mainframe 8 with no brows and nice g-2's.

I just loaded up the car for a hunt tomorrow morning with Camo500efi. Shouldn't be as cold of a morning compared to the last few days but I am sure it will still be cold!

I can only make the morning because I have my daughter this weekend. My sister is watching her in the morning so I can get out for a few hours.

I would like to take this time to thank Illinois, for their awesome weather that they just felt that Minnesota needed.
I did enjoy the freak snowfall that came about this past morning. It was refreshing (to use kind words.) lol.
I woke up, got ready, looked outside to see where the Jeep was parked, and found out that we ended up with a slight coating of snow on everything this morning.
Didn't help hunting, but it sure made for a lively day.
