Russell my friend you have some serious talent there bud!!! That riser looks outstanding!! The colors you added are nice but that wood grain really looks awesome!!

    A few questions Russ-

    1. The air hose, Is that used so you have even/constant pressure?

    2. What's the part you most dislike when building a bow? Not Including the sanding part by hand. ;)

Sorry I missed your call. I was working on my outside wood boiler stove, I'm having bad times with that the last week or 2. I'm loosing about 40 gallons of water a day and still haven't found the fricking leak. I'm Pissed!!!!!!!!:mad:

Ahhh... Schultzy's got 10 million laying around between the seats of his couch and truck. That's chump change to a big milk hauling tycoon like him! :D

I finally got the lams cut for the new limbs after the 1st set developed a crack in the glass.
Here they are ready to be tapered to thickness.

It's Tigerwood and some really nice Maple for the belly.
The wedges are going to be Pecan with Shedura limb butt overlays and Elk Antler tip overlays.
As soon as I can get 2 days off I will get them made and onto the riser.

Ok finally some good news they called me this morning and gave me the night off.;)

Bad news is they called after the postman picked Steves bow up:mad:

I was going to put tip overlays on Steve's bow but he needed it back for turkey season.

Anyway I have been working like a mad man all day and the new limbs are hanging in the shop with the first coat of finish on them. Not sure how they are going to look on the riser tho.

I'll get some pictures up when I get the camera back.:p

Now all I have to do is wait for the final touch to arrive, when Matt gets it for me then I can finally finish this one off:D
