Another buck down in Florida!

    Went out yesterday morning to try to get one on the ground for my girlfriend. I put her in a great stand location just off a few scrapes. She had a really big 8 pt just out of range followed by another nice 6 pt. Just no shots. I could feel how discouraged she was in her text messages. Thinking they were all going to be too far out. I assured her that her time would come. Five minutes later the phone rings and a buck is on the ground! She put a 17 yard shot on a nice 8 point. Here are a few pics.     I was in Florida over the weekend. I couldn't believe how small the deer are down that way.

    The deer down here have way smaller bodies and real short hair. Mild to hot weather isn't good for growing big deer. No need for them to pack it on. We still have fun shooting them! Smaller target! Haha
