What's the point of everyone carrying this image of a PO'd looking TM in a hoodie? Is this image suppose to be endearing or flattering to society? Is this not suppose raise our pulses if a kid (white, black or Hispanic ) comes at us looking like this? What is there point? I don't get it. Not a very flattering way to remember TM. IMO
Maybe the point is to counter the liberal media's depiction of St. Trayvon as an innocent looking 12 year old. They want us to believe Trayvon was a pure hearted little kid that was murdered by a racist white guy with a gun and that, therefore, we should all give up our guns and our right to keep and bear arms. The truth is, Trayvon was a racist thug wannabe who was looking for a reason to jump on a "creepy *** cracker" (his terminology, not mine) and put some "whoop ***" on him (Rachel Jenteal's terminology, not mine). Speaking as a card carrying member of the creepy *** cracker community I say bring it on. The first punk thug wannabe that wants to take a swing at me is going to come face to face with his worst nightmare. A creepy *** cracker with a gun, well trained in karate, ju jitsu and law enforcement self defense tactics who will absolutely refuse to be a victim of his racist, stereotypical aggression.
Yeah. It feels like their trying to water us down and make us easier to be victimized. Fellow. Creepy---cracker with a carrying permit and a little fed up.
Are the blacks protesting trying to say this kid is not menacing looking? I'd love to see some students do a spoof on Al Sharpton and have a black actor follow the reverend into his neighborhood with a hoodie on and all piss'd off looking and see how Al reacts.
Zimmerman's ethnicity seems to be a bit of a controversy but he has identified himself as Hispanic on voter registration
I have not heard anyone say he wasn't Hispanic or Latino so I am curious to hear what ethnicity he is.
I heard on local news radio that when the FBI looked into him to find any racist things in his past they found Zimmermans grandfather was black. don't know if its true ........never checked into it
Actually, he has a white father and peruvian mother. Seeing how his mother is from a Spanish culture, the us census recognizes that as hispanic. So, I guess the term white hispanic is somewhat correct, although, I don't see the term white african american being used anytime soon for children of a mixed couple. It would be nice if race wasn't even mentioned in these stories. Really, one man killed another person in self defense. Race shouldn't matter. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Peruvians are Hispanic. Ah... tfox weaseled in there and posted before me. And while I'm at it... The census has 'Japanese' as a race. WTF is up with that??
Most Peruvians are "mestizo," a term that usually refers to a mixture of Amerindians and Peruvians of European descent. Peru has two official languages--Spanish and the foremost indigenous language, . Spanish is used by the government and the media and in education and commerce. Amerindians who live in the Andean highlands speak Quechua and Aymara and are ethnically distinct from the diverse indigenous groups who live on the eastern side of the Andes and in the tropical lowlands adjacent to the Amazon basin. Does Zimmeraman speak Quechua, LOL
This case was just another classic example of the US government showing favoritism to the Hispanic community over the black community. Sickening I tell ya!
I wonder how many people have had a photo taken where they put on their best mean face trying to look tough in the picture. Of those many who do, should we base our opinion of them from that photograph? Also, along with what TFOX says, when do we stop race baiting by identifying the differences all the time? I'm waiting for the day the media reports that "an African American police officer arrested an Euro-American for suspicion of murdering a Hispanic American with a knife made by Asian Americans. The security cameras in the neighborhood manufactured by Eskimo Americans and monitored by Native Americans indicate that the altercation may have been started by a racial slur yelled by the Hispanic American, but the sound quality is not good enough to determine not only who said what by what was said. Details at 10."
