Yes. Yes you should...It's heavy, but that's about the only thing I didn't like about it.

I hate sliding keyboards, but the droid feels different. It doesn't feel like I am going to break it. The sliding action feels sturdy.

    Android technology is BANANAS!!! lol

Give it up... Android will take over...
    lol.

More phones available, less cost per phone, less per plan, app market is free (mostly).

You can get a HTC Hero, or the Samsung Moment for 99, if you start a new plan, (through Best Buy.

In case anyone was wondering. lol.

 The Palm Pre was suppose to knock off the iphone too and I'm still waiting on that. :D

In all seriousness I've only heard good things about the Droid, but I love my iphone and will keep buying them for the forseeable future. I had the 1st Gen when they first came out (yeah I waited in line for it) and then upgraded this year to the 3GS. No complaints at all from me about it.

Just decided it's time to change. My f'n iphone just wiped my outlook clean and I lost every single contact that I have made over the last 15 years. I am totally screwed now.

Ferg, that total sucks. I've got the standard dial phone, no touch screens here. I've heard absolutely nothing but spectacular things about the phone. My one tech buddy said the navigation on it alone is well worth the purchase. Guess I should of skipped getting a TomTom a few months ago...
