I took the plunge and got a new HTC Incredible today. I am kicking myself in the butt for waiting so long to get an Android phone! The new Droid 2.1 platform is amazing and the 8 megapixel camera is sweet! Plus I will have one less camera to carry in the fall;)

Who else is using an Android phone and how are you liking it?

I loved it untill it slid off the seat of the truck and shattered the screen. Best Buy shipped it off a week ago.

I just checked out sprint and they have the HTC Touch Pro2 and the Hero.
The Hero has a 5 Megapixel camera which the Touch is only 3. By October their
should be even more options available for purchase.

UPDATE: I see that the HTC evo will be out this coming summer for sprint. Didnt state what size camera though.

I am trying to talk my wife into getting the Evo when her contract is up. From what I've read/seen it's basically the Incredible on steroids. I believe it has an 8 MP still camera, and also a 720p HD video camera as well. AND an HDMI ouput. If I didn't hate Sprint's service I would consider holding out for the Evo, but as things stand now it looks like the Incredible will be my new phone. The coolest phone in the world won't do me any good if I can't get reception from my treestand this fall. :D

I keep dreaming of a day when the iPhone will be available on a non-crappy network, but who knows when that's going to happen. Looking like a CDMA version of the phone may start being produced in Sept, which could possibly mean a Verizon compatible iPhone come Christmas. Of course that's just speculation, so who really knows for sure.

Agree...are there any of these top of line phones available for US Cellular? (same for me - only service that works in all treestand locations - a must for work:))

Has anyone downloaded the free "Favorite Animals Call" app? There is a sweet tending grunt you can set as your ringtone for hunting season;)

I have the Motorola Droid and absolutely love it.

Many very useful apps such as Ustream and My Tracks and some apps to just toy around with like a metal detector.

After I got mine, the foreman and owner of the shop where I work had one.:D

My wife just picked up the Droid...she loves it. I on the other hand wish for a day where I had no cell phone. I had the worlds worst cell phone up until my wife got the Droid, now I have her old phone. I feel like I went from a cardboard bike to a motorcycle. But I only send about 3 text messages and 1-2 calls per day....but the phone was free so I took it.

My wife got a droid and hates the touch pad. She wants a phone with a keypad. That means she upgrades and I get the droid, so an upgrade for me too! I'll be doing live pig hunt posts!
