For those who don't know who Andrew is, he is a boy in my school that has had one heck of a life for an 11 year old. His dad died 8 years ago from a heart anyurism. 5 years ago, on her birthday, his mother killed herself. The rest of the story is long and complicated, but he lived with a Grandma that couldn't handle him and his sister, so she was going to put him in a home. After much pleading and praying, she agreed to sign over full custody of Andrew to my wife and I He is as much of a blessing to us as we are to him ... he is an awesome kid .... he is so excited about hunting with me ... in August he will be 12, and able to hunt himself. Some Dates of importance: April - Hunter Safety course May 1st - May 31st - Bowhunting with Dad (me:d ) August - Andrew turns 12 and will be able to take his first game (squirrel) This is Andrews obsession untill he can get out there himself :d notice that he picked the Bowhunting Hunter Dan

Dan, he is stoked .... I mean he wont put Hunter Dan down ... lol ... he has taken a leg from an old stool and put the treestand and tree steps up ... attached HD's saftey belt ...Bow in hand (it was originally upside down :d ) hat on and has killed more big bucks than all the guys on here combined ,,, He rubs off on me, and I on him ..... it's gonna be a GREAT season!

God Bless you and your Wife Tony! Truly blown away by your heart and generosity!! I hope this youngster has a great life and that you guy's share lot's of time and joy in the outdoors! If he is in need of equipment perhaps we all could help him to get set up.Just a thought but I am sure there are things that all of either we are not using that we could forward along or contribute in some other manner. This youngster has had a lot to handle in his short time.It would make me feel good to assist him in some way!
Kudos to you guys for all your prayers and your material blessings for Andrew as well ..... ButtonBuckMaster (Dave)..if you notice, the shirt he is wearing in that pic from Saturday is from YOU! He wears those clothes CONSTANTLY!! Buckeye (Scott) is sending Andrew his first compound bow! ..... GMMAT (Jeff) is also hooking him up .... You guys are the best!!! Take a look at Andrew the day I got him and compare it to that happy face boy in the 1st pic .....what a difference ...

I'm with these guys! I'm a fan as well! Way to go Tony! You and the wife have my utmost respect for changing your boys life like this! The hunter safety corse is going to be a blast, were going thru it for the next 3 weeks! It a great experience so far! Tony the comparison between the 2 pics is incredible, you can really see it in his eyes. There is life in him again! Well done brother!
