win again. Yes they're going to get killed by Carolina this year...... but right now.... they're over achieving again. Go Duke. 7 games in 12 days from Durham, to Madison Square Garden, to Hawaii. That's a tough trek. Great game for Kansas. Duke didn't shoot all that well but pulled it out. Of course the refs sucked.
THIS. The only white guys that actually play for Duke are 6'10" or taller, and mobile at that. Then they have Austin Rivers, Dawkins, and Curry as guards. If they DON'T end up with a 1-2 seed in the tourney it will have been an underachieving season IMO. Same could be said for UNC, UK, Oh St, and others I haven't seen yet I'm sure. That said, if anyone didn't notice a few blind eye moments that favored Duke in the end, they are Duke fans. Curry walked TWICE before passing it for the guy to burry a 3 for the win at the end. For the final 5 minutes, any time Robinson touched it he was murdered by Plumlee under the basket (minus the one clean block of a finger roll layup attempt). Good win for Duke, but I can't help but think that now that Coach K has the all time wins ticker being regurgitated by ESPN 5 times per game, the favoritism on the court will only increase as respect for him increases. It was funny watching Coach K (the man who INVENTED flopping for charge calls in college basketball) go out there are ride the ref dropping a few F bombs that a Kansas player flopped on a Duke charge call. Irony at it's best. As much as I dislike them, Duke is far from a slow untalented overachieving team. They should have high expectations for this years squad.
The season hasn't begun and the Duke haters are already warming up. LOL I love it. And Ken, don't be so humble.... it doesn't become you. Everyone in the free world knows that UNC and Kentucky are the cream of the crop. They got size, athletic, and experience. I under achieving year will be if one of them doesn't win it all while beating the other.
I never said UNC wasn't loaded and the cream of the crop. They are solid and look good. Not going to go annoint them the National Championship, it's a tough road. Matter of fact I hate the fact that they are ranked number one. There's some crazy stat I can't remember (but not good) about teams going into the season ranked number one and winning the NC. And david my friend/pal/ole buddy....... I love how Duke and Duke fans ALWAYS downplay their team. What are they ranked 6 in the nation? The poor slow white boys that have no talent.... lmao. Everyone should feel sorry for the poor team that recruits no talent and has a history of finishing last in their conference. HUH? And I'm humble about UNC?
