Friday, my son who has been ill due to a hyperthyroid, is getting the radioactive isotope(sp) injected into his thyroid and then cannot go home for 3 days due to my granddaughter being in the home. So, Friday through Sunday he is staying here and I plan on making his stay a little less unhappy (he hates being away from his baby daughter) by cooking up some fine dining (or to me it is anyway). The menu for this weekend is:
    FRIDAY:
DINNER – PORK CHOPS IN A LEMON BARBEQUE SAUCE WITH BABY POTATOES, GREEN BEANS AND CANTALOUPE
    SATURDAY:
BREAKFAST – FRENCH TOAST WITH EGGS, FRESH PEACHES AND OJ
LUNCH – DELI SANDWICHES WITH CHIPS
DINNER – BEEF TENDERLOIN WITH RED WINE SAUCE, GARLIC MASHED POTATOES. CORN AND MIXED FRUIT WITH ICE CREAM
    SUNDAY:
    PANCAKES AND BACON AND OJ
    LUNCH – SANDWICHES AND CHIPS
DINNER – BULGOGI WITH RICE, KIMCHI AND OVEN BAKED PEARS

I hope it makes his stay a little more enjoyable.

Thanks Tony and Melissa. They didn't have any pork chops that looked good, so I bought 4 Iowa Chops. I'm sure Mike will suffer through that! An Iowa Chop is a pork chop that is about 2.5 - 3" thick.
