O ya, I have 3 2B tags on hand, I’ll fill them all tom am if given the chance. Every am I have 10-20 deer filter through this fence gap. But it’s hunting anything can happen, we have a weird NE wind tom and I’m used to a S variants, I’ll adjust and make it happen. If I don’t get a shot at one mature doe I’ll be shocked.

How is it going so far this morning? All my buddies are coming over today for chili/bow shoot, we decided to do a bow shoot/get together right before season every year. Next weekend is youth weekend and might go with my buddy and his son.

Seen a good bit of deer so far, all out for range. Gonna sit till 10, most movement I have been seeing is late morning.
Bow shoot/chili sounds like a great time!

Yeah we are all talking about trying different bow brands we haven’t tried yet. I really want to try a pse carbon but i don’t have a dealer close, think closest is 4 hours away. I think one of my buddies is gonna try elite this year. I shot the carbon era at the bow shop and it just wasn’t for me. I don’t know if I can get away from hoyt but seems like everyone likes the mach series. Anyone have any experience with them?

Nope but I have considered a pse machine 33 carbon, I been wanting to try one. Buddy has a 30 and loves it. Last pse I had was “the beast”. I want to shoot the Darton sequel 33 and 35, has my interest and people have been loving it. I always end up back with Hoyt aluminum bows. They just pick me.

Yeah i always end back with the hoyt carbon. I know people have been loving the dartons, luckily enough my bow shop carries them. I’m gonna test the darton out and maybe i’ll make a drive to a shop that has the mach thirty or i might just wait until the new bows release. I had the prime form and liked it but wish it was shorter axle to axle then they release the form thirty. -__- i’m always tinkering with bows, i rarely have a bow for more than two years. Lol i do regret getting rid of the rx seven. Favorite rx series so far.

I don’t know if this is genius or moronic, but there is an abandoned semi trailer sitting out in a field.

I decided to turn it into a ground blind.

Severed the tendon that opens the pinky while chasing a snake. So i’m in a brace and healing process is 12 weeks. Should come out of the brace mid rut.

Saw a snake in the back yard near where the kids play. Looked like a coral snake. So I took my hunting axe. Copperheads i’ll dispatch with a pocket knife but coral snake scared me so I wanted to have distance.
I took a long pole and the axe. Stuck the head of the axe under my arm to swap hands and it fell about 6-8 inches. Landed on the back if my hand. Severed tendon.

But how sharp was that axe, right!?
