2nd season is real slow where I’m at. Deer hide after gun season. Lots and lots of Amish around here , they seem to have a tag for every person in Thier house.

Still rifle season here for another 3-4 days then bow opens bk up until Jan 15th. Cameras are not showing much and I’m not seeing much in person. I’ll see how it goes and I might start moving cameras in the next week or so.

Yeah same, I’ve never had any luck in the late season. But maybe that’ll change this year.
I’m also trying to get my first deer with a flintlock in the late season.

I’ll be hunting the regular rifle with my bow. I’m also trying to help my cousin get his first deer so I’ll be playing guide until he’s successful

My cameras the past couple days have been dead. My target buck is still missing, besides i got one pic its either him or the big nine i have out there but can’t tell its to blurry. Gonna get out tomorrow and sit in the morning and probably evening too. Hoping the activity picks up.

It's not the big 9. He is on a different property. The one he shot is one i wanted to make it another year but I told him to shoot whatever makes him happy. Plus it was a cool hunt, the way it went down. But my big 9 did show up 45 minutes after daylight last night right where I was hunting. Still hoping the big 10 shows up tho. Also, I haven't posted any pics of this buck but he is on my other property but he was gone for a whole month and just showed back up 2 days ago.

Top pic is the big nine

Bottom pic is the other buck on my other property. He is a main frame ten with kickers off his G twos. Have his shed from last year but this year he has been a ghost. IMG_4726.JPG

The buck Ive been watching all summer disappeared fairly early, right about the second week of bow season. I figured someone else got him or he moved locations. I just got a pic of him again, two days after bow season ends . I'm glad he is alive, hopefully he makes it through the rifle season, or gives me an opportunity later this year.
