I’m set up in a new spot

found a rub line , near there but not on top of it

300-400 yards off the field behind my house.
53 degrees
7 mph east winds


I’m west of the those trails with the rub lines.
Wind in my face.

Its a ENE wind. Bedding to the East, thats where I think he is bedded. I’m up, we will see what happens.

I had a massive buck under neath me with 15 min before quitting time. 5 yards away



he had all of about 5-10inches of antlers

 

Gotta start somewhere hahaha

 

Sorry didn’t really have the best service and was just enjoying being out. Had about four different bucks, three of them were spikes/forkys then this mature eight i have on camera came out, didn’t know if i would shoot him or not, he was nice but he ended up hanging up at seventy yards anyways. Besides that seen only two does which i usually see a lot of does but not tonight. Gonna go back out tomorrow evening then give it a break until the weekend. Got family stuff the rest of the week.

Great sit Justin , I’m up and getting ready to go out. Coffee is being sipped.

I’m headed back to the same spot I left my climber attached to the tree.

Same east wind but it’s 33 degrees this morning. It should be an eventful morning

 

My day is done. Property owner cutting trees down 200 yards away.
Ugggh

 

Going back out this evening, the big 10 showed up last night at 11 hitting his scrape, he was gone for almost 2 weeks on camera, but laid eyes on him last week. Got another E wind but haven't decided where to sit yet.

One lone doe and small, I think 1 1/2 yr old but smaller , I don’t think she was a this year fawn. Idk. Didn’t want to shoot her.

 

Just got set up, light rain, should stop here in next thirty minutes.

Was a good sit. Seen about six to eight does and one was in heat cause the nine point did not let any other little buck near her and he pushed her into the thicket where he wanted her to go.
