Just had one of the biggest bucks I got on camera at 20yds, unfortunately he just wasn’t what I wanted. Had him broad side at 20yds.

I don’t go anywhere or do anything the rest of the year. I’m not out at the bars unless my wife is with me. I do t drink much at all. I don’t go with friends very often if at all. Yea I don’t plan dates but I’ve been denied some times if I do plan so I don’t plan.

I will be hunting around the house the next week , the wife’s car is going to the repair shop for repairs on her car from a deer collision. She’ll have my trk.

been arguing with her for the past 2 weeks +.

Probably not the best place to but I’m tired of it. We argue every single year during archery season. It getting old

Same here. Favorite time of the year and really only hobby I have. Its frustrating sometimes but I love her lol

Let it out man. You’re not alone! I told my wife when we first started dating 15 years ago, married 5 yrs. You have me for 10 months, October and November are mine. She still gives me a little grief. This too shall pass Chris.

 

I hope it’s the bigger 1!! Other then him all I have seen is 2 yearlings.

 

I’ll be out tomorrow evening, went this morning and didn’t see squat. Moved some cameras around and put new ones out.

Only a matter of time!

 

He came bk for round 3.

 

So close!! So the 8p came bk out for a 4th time and as I’m watching him my no 1 buck comes out following him 50yds behind. Long story short I’m at full draw with him facing away from me at 25yds (I drew on him as this picture was taken). Just needed him to turn 90 deg. Instead he trots off.

 

Dang, you’re in the game. You’ll seal the deal sooner than later. Keep grinding!

 

I had a fun sit tonight, no shooter but saw a bunch of deer.

 

Still mainly smaller bucks moving for me. Unfortunately the nice 10 I passed earlier in the year was shot by the neighbor. My decision to pass him was foolish, but live and learn. He ended up grossing 151” so that adds a little insult to injury.

Still plenty of nice bucks out there but 2 of my biggest 4 are down. More bucks will move in I’m sure so not giving up by any means.

Looking forward to my time off this week! Probably going to sit with my son for a few spots as he’s just getting into bow hunting, but I’ll be hunting hard.

I'll be heading out after work today. Gonna push a little closer to where I seen the big 10 come out at last week. Haven't seen him on camera still, hoping he hasn't found the first hot doe in the area.
