Seen 4 does but I think I seen the same 2 twice. One walked past at 20yds but I’m to exposed that I couldn’t draw. It didn’t help there is nothing on the ground for them so she had her head up most of the time. Changes will be made.

I went out and picked up a xbow. Just in time to get slammed at work. But she’s sighted in, if I can get a sit in I should at least get a doe to put up points.

The big ten showed up again on another scrape close by at six forty a.m. today. If the wind stays S like it says its supposed to be on opening day which it will change lol but if not plan is to go in after him

First sit of the year for me. More of an observation sit, but if one of these two bucks walk by, my hand will be forced. First N wind and reasonable temps tonight before it hits 80 again for a handful of days. Duck hunting starts next weekend so I’ll be doing that for a bit before I hit the deer harder. Should sneak in a few evening sits here and there until after Oct 20th when I get more focused on deer. First doe just stepped out of the woods edge.

I’m sorry guys. Should’ve probably put one down for us tonight, but decided to film instead. Then, when I realized I probably should shoot this buck, I didn’t want to take a walking shot at 35 yards. Had him broadside at 27 and 32 yards. First sit. Just wasn’t in the right frame of mind. Didn’t think he was that big at first. Not a giant, but definitely should’ve probably shot it. It was the 10 in my previous post.

No sweat, if you weren’t feeling it don’t shoot. That’s why hunting is great!

I get 1-3 chances at 4 year old bucks or better per year it seems on average. Let’s hope it’s on the high side this year.

I don’t know if I’ll shoot a doe opening day but maybe opening weekend but it’s supposed to be in the eightys which suck but we will see. We are low on deer meat so shooting a doe will definitely be top priority tho.

We are out of deer meat so it’s a top priority here
