My dad just picked up an Ameristep Carnivore ground blind from the Cabelas catalog. He's 70 and not a big internet user, therefore he didn't do a lot of research on the blind. I checked it out on the Cabelas and Bass Pro web sites and the reviews are not what I'd expect for a $300.00 blind. I'd like to hear your opinions please. This will be our first bow hunting ground blind (we have one of those small, chair gun blinds) so we really don't know what to look for. We'll be using it for deer (bow) and turkey (shotgun and bow). I appreciate any info you can give me.

    Thanks

It all depends on how you are going to use it. Are you going to set it up and leave it in one spot all season? You going to move it around every 2-3 weeks. Is it big enough for the both of you or a roomy 1 person blind. Do you like the window setup?
