About to punt my Roku in favor of the new Amazon Fire TV and just realized I would be losing BHoD on the bigscreen in the process... are you folks looking into getting your content on it?

At the current time we're not looking at it as Fire TV still doesn't have the coverage of other streaming players. If Amazon would start supporting YouTube you could watch it there. That's one of the only reasons I didn't get a Fire TV myself.

Not much to complain about with the Roku, we've been using them for years... though it has gotten a little more prone to lock-ups lately.

We stream almost all our content from Amazon anyway, and their Fire devices are of course very optimized for their own content. Movies start instantly and with less lag. The UI is quicker and with the beefier hardware it handles apps and games better.

They also ran a $29 special for the sticks a few weeks back so it was a minimal investment to give them a try.

What model roku do you have? We have roku 3 and haven't ran in to any lag or freezing problems.

Don't know why I didn't consider the YouTube route... I guess I don't equate your show with the typical freebee youtube content and forgot that it's available there. They do have an app for it and it streamed it just fine. Not quite as cool as having a dedicated applet, but it scratches the itch. Got to watch your season "highlights" last night :p

Ours is a 2 XS. Don't get me wrong, I like it... and considered upgrading - but the Amazon Prime integration on the Fire line was worth the jump.
