When it's cold out I've been known to take a flask and have a pull or two of Kentucky's finest.

On the same note, and I will say this not for me, but I do know a guy who tokes one up just as the sun is coming up on stand. He sweArs the smell doesn't spook deer, and he's killed some good deer. Again, not for me but if he's on his own place and in walking distance of his house I say have at it.

Not for me especially when I'm in a tree with a sharp object or a loaded firearm

Hell yeah haha I'm a carpenter so me and the old man built a deck and got a hot tub... That's the best part about the whole place! I couldn't tell you how many times I've woke up and skipped a morning hunt to sit in the hot tub

I don't need a beer to enjoy the sunset from the stand, let alone a few...

I personally prefer pounding down a bottle or two of these before I go hunting

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. Plus in many states it would be illegal. It is in PA.

I enjoy beer, and I always celebrate shooting a buck by popping a top or two I may also have a beer after an unsuccessful hunt as well. I do not bring beer in the stand, too much movement, smell, noise etc.

I don't take much to the stand with me and I don't drink anyway. Seems like a silly thing to do to me but whatevs.

Like I said in another post it is a pain to climb up, and because of the noise you have to open 6-8 beers before primetime and then try not to spill any or knock a can when you stand up to shoot, no worse noise in the deer woods when a can falls and hits the steps of the ladder stand on the way down. Anybody know where I can get some scent lok camo can coozies?

In all honesty I learned to not drink any beer before I hunt years ago. I had two before an afternoon hunt and wouldn't you know it as it was starting to get dark I had to pee. I had several does on the food plot in front of me and they had no intention of leaving a few even bedded right there in the plot. It got to be painful waiting I honestly thought I was going to pee my camo.

Aaaaahhhh, to be young!! Nothing against drinking, but in a tree with a weapon?? Would you drink a few beers sitting behind the wheel of your car, or a boat?? Come on my friend, use your brain, i`m sorry not a smart thing to do. But, to each his own!

Grommel there is a $5 fine in my boat if you get caught casting without an open beer.;), but driving anything while intoxicated beyond the legal limit is dumb. I will also have a couple of beers on a friday night and shoot a few arrows, no harm in that.

I like beer. I mean I LIKE BEER. I would NEVER handle a weapon after/while drinking. Moreover never in a stand. I have seen to many "accidents" in my life. If you can call drinking and driving or shooting an "accident". Way to many of my friend did not survive. IMO its' just plain foolish. Plenty of other times to drink. I do not need beer to "relax" in the woods. How about enjoying the quiet time in nature?

Well I guess if you blow it on a big buck, you have an excuse.........."I couldn't put my beer down it time".

Fairly certain some states this is even illegal.

I could care less if it was, absolutely zero desire to do it, none. For a multitude of reasons.
