This quote is from the Gold Tip website filed under "Shaft Selection": That's a direct copy and paste from their website. I'll add that group 5 on their chart is .300 or .340 spine deflection and groups 2 and 3 are .500 and .400 spine deflection respectively. Question 1: Does anyone see any difference in their instructions in paragraphs 2 and 3 that would result in the need for different arrow? Question 2: Shouldn't your preferred broadhead weight be factored into their chart somewhere?
Good idea. I sent them an e-mail. It'll be interesting to see how they respond. I love their arrows. I've been shooting 7595 Pro Hunters for four years now and they've been phenomenal.
Guess I wasn't missing anything! I e-mailed the customer service department at Gold Tip yesterday and this morning I received this reply: I can always use another ball cap.
