I just came back from a hike with my dog. I always check him for ticks afterwards. Well today I checked him right after and found 6 ticks. I just put frontline on him a week ago. It is really important to check your dog. My old dog died from limes disease . I just wanted to let y'all know how important it is.

Frontline will not prevent ticks from getting on your dog. It will kill them or cause them to back out and jump ship once they bite. Same with fleas.

I pulled one off my gfs parents dog yesterday. They hadn't put any frontline on their dog yet. They didn't think it was warm enough for ticks yet.
