Whats the difference between the Carbon and Aluminum arrows? It seems that for the most part aluminum is cheaper, but is it as good as carbon? I know carbon is the most used arrow, but i dont plan on going hunting this year i just plan on shooting some targets and 3d. Im a noob just wondering what the differences are and witch ones i should get.

Okay so Carbon is stronger and lighter while aluminum bends more and is a little heaver.

Carbon is more forgiving(it will flex)In my opinion Aluminum (all metal really)has ''memory''if its distorted it will stay that way.
I believe in carbon. They make a combo of both Carbon and Aluminum, called acc(aluminum carbon composite)check them out!
To be fair when carbon does break,it splinters and the arrow is dead.

Go with carbon. Carbon is better for speed and penetration due to the smaller diameter. After years of using both I've always noticed carbon doesn't break as easy. They are just all around better. Get carbon arrows with blazer vanes.

I never did like the aluminum arrows. they drop way too fast for my liking. now, carbon arrows are just right, real light so you get lots of flat-out speed. don't waste your time or money on aluminum arrows
