I know that it's easiest to use a bow press to disassemble a bow, but I don't have one available. Outside of buying one, is there a way to break my bow down and get it back together so it shoots?

You don't have to buy and expensive press, Promaster makes an inexpensive cable press for around $50, you can order them from Lancaster Archery. Or I saw on a show once that used to use Lancaster Archery for a weekly tech tip to use a allen wrech wrapped with a coulple of layers of tape, then start to draw back and have someone insert it in a hole in one of your cams. I don't know if I would do this or not, but if you do I would do it to both cams or if a single cam to the bottom one.

The Promaster bowpress is really nice, I bought one and it can do everything a $300 press can, and it can fit in the palm of your hand or pack for those trips where there is no pro shop anywhere close. Hope this helps.
