I've sat the last three days in 23-30 degrees not hateful but nothing is moving, doves cooed one day, and I mean I'm the only thing moving, checked deer canes there all night owls, 3:45 am, so I set the feeder to go off then and spook them back to daylight.

So my hunting plans have changed for the last week of the season. Last week, my little girl had her tonsils removed so my fiance was going to watch her while i went hunting this week. well, looks like she caught the flu so now i'm having to take care of both of them. I very well may not get back out this season. Good luck to everyone else in the last days of the season. I hope we can get everyone that has a deer posted up on the scoreboard thread.

My season is over. Sorry i only got one for us but atleast it was 133 points. Hopefully next year i'll be able to get teamed up with some of you again. It's been a pleasure getting to know some of you and hope to stay in touch. I wish everyone the best.

Hunted three days, turkey had a field day saw a few deer no shooters, took advantage of scouting and found several trails hidden down another 75 yards on the hill sides, so next year. Looks promising. Bone head any thoughts of keeping our team together for next year?

is keeping a team together an option? I thought it was all random at the beginning of the season. That'd be great of we could keep most of us on the same team next year but we've had quite a few inactives. I noticed several people that checked in and then haven't had a single post since. Maybe not even logged into the forums since.

Honestly don't know, it would probably make sense to change each year.

well I hope my hang on is still down on the property. I was hoping for a hard freeze so I could just drive my Tahoe to the edge of the woods and retrieve it.

I know the season is over but how are all my former team 28 members doing? I've already started planning my hunt for next year and have started google maps scouting to find good areas. I have a couple of spots planned out to scout and would like everyone's opinion and advice. What do you think? Also, did anyone get to go shed hunting? i didn't get a chance to go myself but i'm going to be looking for sheds when i scout this area.

Didn't get to shed hunt but did bag a gobbler this last weekend (albeit with my Mossberg instead of my Mathews). Haven't done a ton of scouting but my wife and I have been shooting a lot now that we have a house. She'll be outshooting me within the year! Hope everyone is having a good spring!
