Does this seem right? I think I may have done something wrong.

*Edit* I know what I did wrong. Measured the circumstances wrong and measure the last points as g4.

The four measurements at the bottom are the circumference of the horn between the points. It's not the distance between the points. You need to measure around the horn between the bur and the g1 between g1 and g2 between g2 and g3 and between g3 and the tip of the main beam as it is the g4. From the look of the horns those should be 4 or 5 inch measurements. I figured he was around 130. I'll study your numbers again and see what I get with average circumferences.

You also took a g4 credit that doesn't count as the g4 on an 8 point is actually the main beam credit.

I'm going to measure the circumstances tomorrow but when I guessed, I got 135 so it's in the range I thought it would be.

Ok. Here's the correct score card. I'm going to be submitting it today.

Any ideas how to get these nocturnal deer out, I have my feeders running a bit early, so there's no corn at night but heck, great buck came out at 35 yards last night, and I couldn't take the shot, too dark.

I'm having the same problem. Main factor might be the neighbor feels the need to ride his quad all over the woods in the evening. Cant ask them to stop since we have had major problems before.

Great to see all the bucks getting shot! Trying not to get discouraged. Taking Thursday and Friday off work which gives me 4 solid days to hunt.

The rut should be just starting. The one i got was chasing a doe hard through the woods.

I'm wondering what the updated score will look like now. I think we just made a huge jump. We have more points the 1st place currently has but i havn't looked to see if the top 3 teams have added to their score yet.

Back to work for two days then right back at it.

This Saturday is the gun opener-- after Saturday everything changes. Hope to get a good buck down before then.
